Hi I'm using x10 mini pro and the problem i face is this,

For example my friend's number is this 0164770231

I keyed in +60164770231 as ALICE

When she called her number 0164770231, appeared as unknown ed number.

So I keyed in without the +6..
When I text message her and she replied +60164770231 became and unknown ed number. =/

Is there something wrong with my setting or is the phone plain stupid?

Restart router too many times, can it spoil?

Can a router spoil if I restart it twice a day? or can it spoil because i restart it that often? Because I have to block and unblock ports..

Architecture Vs Civil Engineering

Sorry if I double post. But anyone knows the difference between this 2 except for architecture more to designing and civil engineer more to calculations?

From what I'd heard, an architect can do what a civil engineer can do. Eg. Plan/ calculate everything for a buidlings without civil engineer.

USM hostel for 1st year student compulsory?

Hey I wanna ask if it's compulsory to stay in U hostel for the first year or first sem? Because I have bad experiences staying in hostel and am planning to rent (http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1065809) a room outside if it's possible.

Surveying on DSLR (beginner)

Hi, I'm about to get my first DSLR. I don't know which brand should I go for.
Nikon D60, Sony Alpha 300 or Canon EOS1000D.

I know first camera doesn't really matter, but I would like to seek some opinion.

If I were to get my first camera on one brand, does it mean my following ones would be of the same brand, as it's too expensive to change the whole set? Sorry Noob here..

Heard Nikon's really good but the beginner's body's not that good or something. And there's no live view.

And there's this shop beside DIGI in gurney, they recommended me Sony Alpha 300.

I also read certain posts that say don't go for the lens kit that's cheaper with the body. As a beginner will I be needing them?
