With the upper market property sky rocketing, i mean new launches at good location already more than RM550 per sq feet, don't you think those medium cost apartment with price tag less than RM300 is the best investment now?

lets talk about I&P Group Sdn Bhd's development of 156 units of apartments called 8 Petaling in Bandar Baru Sri Petaling, Selangor.

the project provide condominium facilities even though it is classified as apartment, complete facilities with 24-hour security, swimming pool, wading pool, BBQ area, gymnasium and a minimum of two parking lots to each unit.

The units have built-up areas ranging from 1,690 sq ft to 4,876 sq ft.

at first i want my 2x5 feet piller to look like this:[attachmentid=3277487]

so i bought 1 ballet of stone skin from Ipoh factory: [attachmentid=3277492]

but cannot find local people to do it, claiming stone too hard to cut. manage to find KL sifu, but have to charge RM1000 for 1 piller, so give up.

after marble floor, i will start to do my kitchen top. wife prefer granite called Emerald pearl. survey shows that price ranging from $50 to 70 per sqft, installation $18 to 22 per sqft. any forumer can introduce their installer?

which one will you choose for a living and dining area of 500sft:

1) 2X2 tiles arround $3600,
2) Ipoh Pink broken marble $5200,
3) Ipoh Pink 2X2 marble $7500.

all include instalation and polish job for the marble.

burning smell from old fan

there is a burning smell coming out from my 8 year old ceiling fan, brand Elmark (?). thinking of changing it by myself. my question is can i change another brand ceiling fan only without touching the regulator? the regulator seems still working.

waterproofing metarial

try to apply a layer of waterproofing material to my ground floor concrete before laying marble. but different hardware shops different recommendations. the cheapest is Shell Bitumen, followed by Sika 107, the most expensive is PYE multipurpose sealer.

total area arround 1000sf, Shell only $300 while PYE cost more than $1200
which one is better and value for money? please comment.

laser printer cartridge

i can't believe this, a new xerox print cartridge is selling at $230, while a compatible samsung new laser printer with a extra cartridge is selling almost the same.
shall i have throw away the 2 year old and functional xerox and buy a samsung instead?
but this is certainly not environment friendly.

went to Houz Depot near Ikea yesterday.
anybody use Hafele handle and lockset before? according to the sales person, Hafele is German technology, made in Thailand, but lockset is on par with YALE.
some of the offer item very attractive, Johnson S promotional wc item can even match zheilwane's price, hehe...
