hi i will be venturing a franchise business with one of my friend. I already have the same franchise under my own company. The same person is not allowed to owned 2 franchise under this business' policy. So my friend was recently awarded the franchise to his sole proprietorship. As he doesn't have enough money for the startup he wants me to join/partner with him. Since, my name is not in his sole proprietorship, am i allowed to draft a partnership agreement consist of my personal name and his personal name or sole proprietorship? can i just do my oown draft according to format and bring it to own stamping?

so i will be getting married this year..both our family had dinner to discuss the wedding.. i have one important question/situation. we wanted to give the bride's family 10 table for the wedding as we plan to do it together regardless where we do..my parents being honest stated one of the place we plan to have the wedding and the table gonna cost around 2.5k per table (but this is not confirm we might go for lower value)..but the bride's parents wants to add 5 tables on their own since they will need 15 tables in total.. but after the disccusion dinner (2 days later) they says that they want 12 tables from us instead.. but we could not fulfill it as we already give what we can which could come to cost about 25k.. normally the dowry i heard from friends is between 6k to 10k in klang valley if they do not give tables.. so now the bride's side know the table cost 25k in value.. they instead ask for 25k as dowry then they will held the wedding separely..both me and my fiancee wants to have it together but my fiancee parents seems to want to held separately for now..so do you guys think i should give 25k or just follow market rate if they want to hled separately?

House reno progress

hey guys,
this is a few pic of my current house reno..but there are a few things that i feel the contrator overquote me so i hope that sifus here will be able to help.

Ok this is the few quotes i need ..

i was quoted RM14 per sq ft for laying and hacking tiles excludes tiles and RM19 per sq ft for laying marble and hacking excludes marble.
then i was quoted by a solar system contractor to do piping for the solar system for RM900 per point for G floor, RM800 per point for 1st & 2nd floor and RM700 for 3rd floor.

I feel that the price is overprice for the tiles and marble but i need to know whats the average price for now. As for the solar system piping i have no experience at all and hard to get info.

Hi all, i recently got a quotation from a interior designer for my house, then they actually quoted me about RM20,000 for design consultation fees but they will waived it if i do appoint them for both build & design. But just to be sure, because im not sure how this is gonna work, he does not provide me any sketches or 3D drawing design..is it the normal procedure for me to pay them the initial payment before they show me the sketches or there are designers who share the ideas with you before asking you for downpayment? which should be first? sketches 1st or downpayment 1st? sorry for this question as this is my first time..
