need advice on external speaker for sony tv

good day everyone......

wish to find out how or what's the best connection for me to get sound output from my Sony TV (Sony kv55x7500h) into my xioami MI sound bar (bear in mind this sound bar doesn't have hdmi port).......pros and cons

- tried Bluetooth didn't work as the TV keep searching for soundbar (anyway read that this method not so good)

currently with the cables in hand......
- first tried with 3.5mm jack to re/white rca cable only noise/hissing sound from soundbar
- second (currently) using 3.5mm jack to 3.5mm jack from TV headphone port, sound good but still bit of noise/hissing from soundbar and this should be in stereo only?
- the soundbar come with "spdif"......didn't use this as i don't know which port to plug into at the TV (really noob....sorry)

ordered "Optical Fiber Audio Cable" waiting to get and try this but reading the reviews stating can't control the sound volume thru the TV/ remote so need to up or down sound volume at the soundbar (this soundbar doesn't come wit remote )

any other better ways to have this setup work?

guys, gals and sifus here...........

please advice or point to where i can find out more on the matters below :

currently i am having problem with my home streamyx .......when i on my home pc, my children cannot link to my wifi but if i off my home pc and only on the modem, they can link to my modem's wifi...............previously we dont have this problem (any advice, recommendation on this so i can bring my pc to computer shops to asked them to rectify)

so now i am thinking of getting a portable wifi modem (any advice, recommendation and price on this) with prepaid internet package something like umobile u18 or hotlink free basic internet package (any advice and recommendation) ......... so my children can surf internet and play facebook. and we can bring back to kampung / hometown to surf too during school holidays.

good day to all and best wishes to all SPM student who just got their result yesterday .......

my daughter just got her result for her SPM with good score/grade, she want to go into medic line (and specialist gynecologist if can) for a normal working parents like me i cant really effort to let her study in this field without scholarship or fund.

here i wish to get information / advice / help into how and where to look into getting scholarship or fund to help me in allowing my daughter to study in medic line.

any information / advice or help will be very much appreciated (as i am not well educate parent with minimum study experience and cant really help my daughter) ....... thanks a million.

simple pc for internet surfing

good day to all members here,

as per the topic, can any one here give me some advice on what to get for my children to used for surfing the internet?

currently i have a home pc which i used for work and surfing, now both my children also starting/learning to surf the net.

so i am thinking of getting them a cheap device each so they can surf while i can still use my pc for work. instead of getting
them 1 netbook which cost around rm.1200~rm.1300 for both of them to used, what can i get for the same amount of money
for 2 units of simple devices? which have bigger screen than handphone as later when they get older only i get them a better
pc or laptop when they need for their studies, trying not to spent/waste too much now as pc will get outdated fast.
