hi guys,

anyone here know where to get original / OEM spark plug distributor assembly for my Proton Saga UK Spec 1.5 EFI Auto ?

the only ones i can find are recond ones that does not supply enough power to the spark plugs and the plugs misfires.

before someone jumps to the conclusion that my plugs are faulty - i am using iridium plugs with high voltage cables that have been working fine with the previous original mitsubishi spark plug distributor.

PS : other forum members also adviced me that it is possible to mod spark plug distributors for local iswara/wira to fit in UK Spec distributor housing. anyone else have tried this ? any pointers ?

P1 WiMAX in Penang

They have promotion 7 days free trial now. RM100 and you can test it for 7 days, and you can return on 7th day and get your RM100 back. I just got one yesterday, testing it out now.

Attached below is the speed that i get from 1.5MB subscription, connected at bayan lepas area now. In Internet Download Manager (IDM) using 8 concurrent connections can easily hit 150-180kbps from US servers. I will update connection speed at different areas in Penang as i test.

forgot to mention, using W1GGY usb modem, not the router. And with 3 bars signal of total 5 bars (60%)

PS : I am not a reseller. Go get one from P1 shops / booth if you want to try.

Freeware Anti Viruses

There are a multitude of Free Anti Virus softwares around on the Internet...

some example are :

AVG
Avast
AntiVir
ClamAV
and many others...

Many of these free anti virus programs are better than resource hungry NAV and McAfee which sometimes consume more resources than the viruses itself...

Tell us your experience, which are the best ones... fastest ones.... least resource hungry...

My first experience / comment is : the new AVG 8.0 is slower than AVG 7.5... anybody notice it ?

Nforce Networking

anyone face before built in ethernet controller of nforce mainboards fail.

the icon show connected, totally no errors but cannot connect, not tcp problem as netbios protocol cant work as well

driver working fine, windows does not report errors, latest driver and old driver also cant work...

reinstall windows also cant work.

direct crossover cable or switch also cannot work... connect to another nforce ether controller also cant work...

then changed to another pci network card no problem at all...

problem is solved, so i suspect the nforce ethernet controller damage, but what a strange way to damage... fools the user into thinking there is a problem with the windows/drivers/cable etc

i check on some other technical websites and forums, they also face this problem... on nforce 2/3/4 and even newer models

anyone face this problem here ?
