Some single friends very miserable

The other night, got gathering with ex schoolmates. Some of us married, some of us single. Got one guy ah, he single, but he face masam one. We casually ask him, wah, when gonna get married, then his face black black say we kaypoh, then sulk for awhile. Then we try to cheer him up la, ask him what he usually do. He say he everyday also go bar drink alone like so miserable. Then we say la, tonight don't drink alone, we drink until drunk k, see how much we can drink. But he suddenly rage, say dowan drink means dowan la, need to prove that he can drink meh. Never say he not good drinker also, but he so sensitive. Aiyo, he so emo Liao then we also don't know how. Then we ask him lor, what he want to do, we good friend we pei. He say just chat chat lor, then he talk about how he wan BN to win. We all think, good chance to debate with reasonable ppl, but then he say he know BN sucks, he just wan BN win so everyone can be miserable. Win Liao lor, ownself wan emo until die not enough, must drag everyone down. Sometimes go gathering with this kind of ppl damn downer.

I plan to go for a 3 or 4 day holiday at a beach resort near Singapore or near Johor. Any ideas? Just want to hang out, not planning to have water sports or snorkeling. Any suggestions?

Broken laptop screen options

Hi all, I accidentally stepped only laptop and now half the screen is gone. Obviously, I have several options, sending it to Asus to fix, or a random store to fix, or get an external screen.

Right now my favoured option is getting a screen. My laptop only have a hdmi slot, so what should I get for a screen? Most screen I see is VGA, is there an adaptor for it to connect to my laptop? Sorry, noob here.
