I went for interview on Thursday and I received a call on Friday (today) offering me a job, asking if I can start on Monday.
Is it possible that they can make a decision that fast ?
It's a replacement position because someone leaving and the reason they want me to start on Monday is because they need to do some transfer of work.
I have an offer from somewhere else; a subsidiary of a PLC.
So, now, what should I do ??

As per topic, I am wondering if anyone here works in Empire Hotel Subang ? (Like corporate side or management)
I saw an advertisement on Jobstreet for the position of Accounts Assistant and applied yesterday.
I got a call today from a lady saying she calling from HR for Empire Hotel asking if I can make it to an interview tomorrow morning.

Fresh graduate first time looking for job; is it actually common for potential employers to respond so fast to application and arrange for interview so fast ??

Problem with laptop

I have a lenovo laptop bought in late 2009.
Yesterday it hang for some time and I remove the power source, forcing the shut down (?)
Now the laptop won't reboot. It keeps going to the same page that tells me there is a windows error in recovery.

There are 5 options at the bottom.
1. Safe mode
2. Safe mode with network
3. Safe mode with command prompt
4. Last good configuration
5. Normal windows startup

If I choose the first 3 options, it goes back to the same page eventually.
If I choose the option 4 & 5, it just goes to the wiondows loading page and that's it, it's stuck there.

I brought it to the computer shop and the lady there told me that my laptop doesn't have a OS ??
She told me that my laptop is a free-dos laptop ??
I have no idea what does this mean, can someone explain this to me ??
And before this, whenever I use the laptop, it has the logo that says "Windows Vista Starter Pack" on the bottom right corner of the screen.

I am confused as to what is going on with my laptop, I am almost tech-illiterate.
HELP ME. =(
