When I was filling up petrol, a healthy 20-ish year old guy who drives a Myvi walked to me.

Myvi Guy: Bang, I malulah. I tak ada duit. Boleh bagi RM20 untuk minyak?
Me : I bagi RM5, you minta orang lain untuk selebihnya
Myvi Guy: I malu mintaklah. Boleh bagi RM10?
Me : I bagi je RM5.

So I walked to pay RM5 for him.
He looked at me with a disappointed look, didn't say thank you, and just filled up his car. Then drove away.
He even nearly crashed into me when exiting the petrol station.

What would you do if you are in my shoe?

[Need Advice] Faulty Logitech Z906

Hello. I am not sure if this is the right place to ask (or Hardware forum) but feel free to let me know what's your thoughts.

I used Logitech Z906 Speaker for a few years and last year Centre Console is developed problem, where it will kind of gives weird noises after switching on for 10 to 15 minutes. When it is working, the sound is fine, so I think the speakers and subwoofer unit are still working well.

What is your suggestion on what can I do with this?
1. Ideally I would want to repair it, but I can't find parts and local distributor is unable to help. I don't know who can repair this too.
2. Sell it out (anyone knows if someone would want it?)
3. Dispose it

1000w is too big for me! If you have this concern, please allow me to share with you!

Most of the gaming PC with dedicated GPU uses about 300 Watts to 400 Watts. If you refer to the chart below, it is the sweat spot for both efficacy and silent operation. The fan will start to spin above 400 Watts.

Throughout my whole gaming session, the PSU fan has not spin at all. You can enjoy the silent PSU and probably prolong your PSU life because less moving parts.

So with such a silent PSU, there is less noise, so you can hear your enemies better during your gaming session and pawn more noobs!

Two days, I got scammed.
Yes I am stupid, but what is wrong for trying to help?

On 25 Feb 2019, I was in KFC Paradigm Mall, Kelana Jaya. I was approached by a man who told me he has lost his IC. He looked distressed and constantly rubbing his eyes. He said he was stupid to put his wallet behind his back and then lost it.

He was from Kedah and he has no family and friends here. He said he asked others for help, but he was scolded by them. Because they are scammers out there and caused him for not getting help.

He said this is the second time he lost his IC, so he needs to pay RM310 to JPN for replacement of his IC. He asked me to lend him money. He said he was really desperate for help and please take photo of him and his police report, and report him to the police if he lied. He even asked me to take more photo of him. He said he will pay me back on the next day.

For some reasons, I was soft hearted and took pity of him. I lend him RM350 and so that he can get back on his feet. On the next day, he didn't call, I called him multiple times. He picked up once and said he has transferred the money and asked for wait for another day citing 1 day float.

By 27 Febuary 2019, I didn't receive notifications. He no longer pick up my calls (no surprise lol). I googled a little and found there is a Malay guy twitted about the same guy and same incident (https://mobile.twitter.com/azkhairula…/…/1052030773815959552). He took cash advance and lend him RM250.

By now I am certain the guy is a scammer. I decided to report to police. I went back to Sea Park Police Station and showed them the photo. The officers told me the Police Report he showed me was forged. They also found that this guy made multiple police reports in many police stations.

Later, Sergeant Azmi from IPD KJ took up my case. Initially he said this is a commercial case. There is no crime for a person to ask for money and you give it willingly. However I told him he used a forged document to substantiate his story.
Sergeant Azmi then called and discussed his superior (Inspector Firdaus) on the possibility of the suspect forging a police report with the intention to cheat. However the IC he used in the report was found to be someone else. At this point, we were not able to identify the real identity of the person.

I wasn't that angry if he genuinely needs help and just decided not the pay back. I am angry when someone prey on people's kind to make money. And he made someone took a loan to fund his scam.
So I am here to help to create awareness on this scam. Please help me spread so no one else should fall to his fake sobbing story again.
Yes, it is easy to say how can I fall for this but at the moment, I asked myself, what if he genuinely need for help and no one believed him?
Of course the answer now is, yes I am stupid. I shouldn't give him so much or this or that. I was naive and wished there are genuine person out there needing help and giving help. I was sorely disappointed.

At the same time, my experience with the police was good. They were very supportive and attentive to my case. They asked me to viral it so hopefully, more people can help to identify and not fall for him.

Please help me share to create awareness. Thank you so much.
