Service to liquidate assets

Hi All,

Are there any services in Malaysia which helps a company liquidate it's assets to pay of debts? I suppose anyone can do that but a liquidator would probably have all the contacts to move assets quickly.

I've did a search but so far all liquidators are tied with bankruptcy. If someone has contacts could you maybe PM me?

Shaking the hand: When your partner's hand is shaking, they are communicating to you which person they want you to serve to. This could be because they have been blocking well against them, or that they haven't been hitting well, or other reasons. However, that is where they want the ball to go.

Fist: When your partner shows you a fist, it means that they are not planning on blocking and will be dropping back to dig with you. Step over to the other side of the court so that they can drop straight back and play defense.

Thumbs: The thumbs can be used to show your partner what part of the court you would like them to serve to. As an example, watch this video to see how to use the thumbs for this.

Richest Village in China builds Hotel

On October 8, 2011, Huaxi villege (华西村), which is titled “the richest villege in China”, cut the ribbon to open their lavish hotel, Longxi Hotel International (龙希国际大酒店, also known as Long Wish Hotel International), built at 3 billion yuan by raising 10 million yuan from each household in the village. It is a luxurious gift from the local residents to mark the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Huaxi villege.

The hotel is one of the largest monomer hotels in China, and its building, with 74 stories, in 328 meters high, equals the height of the 3d International Trade Center of Beijing, the tallest building in Beijing and the 15th tallest in the world.

Besides, the hotel was luxurily decorated. On the 61st floor, there is a flourishing flower garden, and large swimming pools in the air.[COLOR=red] And a statue of an ox made from huge pure gold, which costs 300 million yuan, was erated on the 60th floor too. According to the government, the value of the gold ox has increased by 30%, by the way. Check more in the following pictures.

The village also spent 90 million yuan purchasing two helicopters and 10 million yuan building the aircraft parking area. The local government said they launched the sight-seeing project for the tourists to view Huaxi village from the air. More than 3600 tourists have embarked on the helicopters.
But there were also different voices from the Internet. Facing the criticisms from the netizens that the village aimed to show off wealth, the local government said this is a symbol of urbanization of village. They not only wanted to build the village as a city, but also wanted to attract people from the cities to consume in their village.

Hungry dogs rage, kills owner

Seven starving dogs in Indonesia apparently ate their owner when he returned home from a two-week holiday in his hometown in Manado last Wednesday. His body parts were discovered only on Monday.

A neighbourhood guard was curious when he saw luggage lined up at the front of Andre Lumboga's house, days after the 50-year old returned home. He approached the house, smelled something foul and called the police, Reuters reported.

"His skull was found in the kitchen, and his body was found in the front of his house," Eriyana, a local police chief in Batam, an island off Sumatra, told VIVAnews website.

Lumboga arrived home last Wednesday, but his body was discovered on Monday.

"We suspect that the dogs were hungry, so they attacked Andre, because they had not been fed for 14 days," he said. Police also found bones of two other dogs, believed to have also been eaten by the hungry canines.

Lumboga was from northern Sulawesi island, a predominantly Christian area, where the local spicy diet is famous for including dogs, bats and forest rats.

Nine killed in lorry-SUV collision in Sarawak

KUCHING: Nine Indonesians were killed in a horrific collision near Sri Aman that flung most of them out of their vehicle and onto the road.

The Indonesians were travelling in a Toyota Rush, which collided head-on with a lorry at KM34 on the Sri Aman-Sarikei road at about 3.50am Wednesday. The lorry was heading towards Kuching.

Inquiry "Import Tax" and "Letter of Approval"

Hi All I'm attempting to bring back an audio storage box and need some advice

I've been checking if this is taxable using (http://tariff.customs.gov.my/) and the result was it is taxable for 20%, it is also stated that the import must be accompanied by a letter of approval issued by or on behalf of the director general of environmental quality of Malaysia. I'm guessing this is because the storage box is made out of wood.

Question: Should I obtain the letter first before any attempts to bring in the storage box? Or just go ahead and bring it back and declare it at the customs. (Am flying back with the storage box, will check in as oversize baggage)

Any help in this is greatly appreciated

Genting-KL bus crashes; several killed

KUALA LUMPUR: A bus traveling from Genting to Kuala Lumpur crashed at 7.45pm and several passengers were reported killed.

Many more were said to be injured when the accident happened 15km from Genting.

Authorities have yet to confirm the number of dead and injured.

The dead and the injured are being rushed to Selayang Hospital and Kuala Lumpur Hospital.

KUALA LUMPUR: Six people have been reported dead and between 15-20 injured when the bus they were travelling in crashed along the Karak Highway near Genting Highlands.

This led to initial speculation that the bus was on the way to Genting.

Several passengers were flung out of the bus from the impact.
