Lazada Cancellation / Return Experience

Here is the Chronology of my Incident that I Laptop (HP Pavillion 15) from Lazada

9/9/2018
- I bought a Laptop (HP Pavillion 15) from Lazada along with other smaller items and the Nightmare was just starting.
- The Laptop was shipped by using GDEX (GAM000340281)

16/9/2018
- I was so frustrated as the Item was not delivered while other items from China already delivered. And I need the laptop urgently. (Just realizing that Mainland is closer to KL comparing to East Cost)
- I had called Lazada regarding the Cancellation process as I wanted to cancel the Laptop purchase. (Can't handle the Frustration! What have happened to my Laptop?!!)
- I was told to reject the packages during the arrival or return the package to Lazada for Refund. (It was so simple)
- With confidence with Lazada Return Policy, I had bought another laptop at physical store due to urgency and I thought I would get Cancellation / Refund if I followed all the steps. (I was too naive for this)

18/9/2018
- I had received the package from GDEX.
- For Cancellation, I choose the 2nd Option (Received the Packages and return to Lazada due to Terrible experience with GDEX ).
- I had generated the Lazada Return Form and dropped the package to MBE without TAINTING DIGNITY the Box and the Seal was intact. (I am so HOLY )
- MBE used NinjaVan for courier (NVMYLAZRE000054912).
- I was clearly aware that Broken Seal would render my Return (Change of Mind) Invalid. Hence, I don't even "Touch" the Original Box. (Dignity is well preserved!)

22/9/2018
- Package arrived at Lazada warehouse

23/9/2018
- Received an email stated that my Return had rejected
- I had called Lazada for reason for Return Rejection.

24/9/2018
- I got a call from Lazada stated that the reason of Return Rejection was due to Broken Seal.
- I told the Lazada that I don’t even open the Box and sure the Seal was not broken during hand over the package to MBE.
- I was told to email the photo taken to Lazada and I follow up with the email later.

26/9/2018
- I got a call from Lazada in the morning stated that Lazada will process my return but the Package had been shipped to me by PosLaju (ER606247627MY). (I was so delighted)
- I was told to do the following
1) Received the package and paid the courier fee and get the receipt
2) Return the package to Lazada and a Manual Return Form (Will be emailed to me later)
3) Lazada will process my refund once Lazada received the package.
- However, I received an email from Lazada my Return was rejected.
- I had called Lazada to clarify this issue whether I get Refund or Not. And no response until now.

28/8/2018
- I had received the package and I called Lazada for the update.
- Sadly, there was not update yet.
- And I found out an interesting thing, the Outer Box that with Seal was missing!! (Can I file Return due to Damaged Item?)

My Assumptions as following
1) Either MBE staff or Lazada Staff have removed the Outer Box what with Seal. I think Lazada Staff will have higher chance to do so because they need to check the contain inside for Return.
2) Besides, the Seal for the Laptop box is Broken (The reason that my Return was rejected). It is not broken by me as I don't even open the Outer Box. Anyway, it is not surprising because the Laptop is upgraded with additional RAM. And the Modification is done by Vendor.

Moral of the Story
1) Don't buy items that with Modification ie Laptop with Upgrade / Customized Desktop. (High chance the 14 days Change of Mind is not applicable)
2) Don't buy expensive stuff online. Still prefer Physical Store that have the feeling of "Get what you have paid immediately". Feeling of secure.
3) Don't expect a 100% successful return although following all the steps and procedures! Sometimes, BAD LUCK will haunt us!

Anyway, I just have the feeling of being "SoChai" and being fooled by Lazada.

Besides, any advices from big Brother and Sister here for this situation?
I really want to Return the Laptop to Lazada or I will be in DIRE situation.

Advices from Brother and Sister Here
1) Terus reject la when courier sending to you. After accepted the return is base on term already
2) GDex not for human use one
3) Straight away drop to their warehouse... ask them check right in front of me...
