Dell say only give me refurbish unit for my

hi sifus here, recently pull trigger on Dell AW2725DF, Unfortunately it arrived with a few spots of smudge pixels at the bottom edge. On top of that it failed to run the official firmware update to the latest version, it took hours to reach 80+% and fail after that.

I contacted dell through their WhatsApp support last night and they agreed to a 1 tot 1 swap but they confirmed they will be using a refurbished unit/part for the replacement. I strongly disagree and reject their offer. I strongly disagree and rejected their offer right away. I just don't feel right to get a refurbished unit when the issue is literally fresh out of box. This is clear cut on DOA case, not a standard warranty claim. I told them if i claim warranty a few months down the line, I would not mind if they use refurbished part. But since this is a defective straight from factory, am i supposed to get a brand new retail unit?

I used member rewards and stacked 10% discount on the monitor, save me about RM600 in cash rebates. If possible I definitely want to keep the monitor deal. If i push for a full refund or return I pretty sure I will forfeit my RM600 rebate.

Has anyone dealt with this kind issue before?

I'm looking for a Remote Desktop solution for my company. Currently, we have one powerful PC, and I need 3 to 5 staff to be able to work on it at the same time.

I don't want "screen capture" software like AnyDesk or TeamViewer because they lag and you can't have multiple people using different accounts at the same time. I want something like the native Windows RDP where everyone has their own desktop session.

I know Windows 10/11 Pro normally only allows 1 user at a time. Is there any good 3rd party software that can "unlock" this for 5 users? I've heard of TSplus and Thinstuff, any of you using these for your office? Or are there better "value for money" options in 2026?

Looking for something stable and affordable for permanent use. Thanks in advance!

Hi, would like to upgrade my pc case fan but realize there is no ARGB 3 pin Header in my motherboard, was looking on the ARGB hub but quite confusing whether it compatible with the 4pin RGB header with motherboard or not. Hi, just want to ask if anyone have experience on Asus VG27AQ IPS monitor, how is your IPS glowing or light bleeding on your monitor? The monitor I got here have very bad light bleeding on the 4 corner which make it very fatiguing to use.

the bleeding is not as serious from naked eyes but you can make comparison between 2 monitor from picture above.
