need advice for the negotiation process

i went thru the HSBC assesment test n interview. did my medical checkup 2day. am suppose to meet up wif the HR ppl next week to negotiate my salary and the benefits i get from HSBC.

i'm a fresh graduate, without workin experience, got a Bachelor science degree in accouting & finance. since the Treasury & Finance dept is not that famous in malaysia's banking industries and i seldom hear freshie gettin into that department, so i was wondering wat wud b the salary like for a freshie in that department.

basically their jobscope is analyse financial instrument such as options, swaps, FOREX etc etc. they oso do compliance testing for other finance dept as well (such as treasury & capital market dept). i was told that it's definitely not a front line job, not to mention i'm not keen to look for a sales job

i stated that i'm expecting rm2,300 basic salary.... issit too much for a freshie in HSBC? or vice versa?

WTA - cracking sound while playing CS

currently using chaintech AV-710 with edifier m3300. everytime when i play CS (aztech map).... i can hear a soft cracking sound on my left speaker.... it's pretty annoying, as if i'm using some crappy speaker or playing low quality sound. i did not modify any audio hardware, niether did i install some audio enhancement software.... i'm using the hi sampling rate state 96khz. shud i lower down the sampling rate? i tried disable all the bacbkground workin program but problem still exist.... and i hav no prob while listen to my mp3s wif my foosbar.....

i hope some veterans outside can giv their advice. tq

info regarding xda2i and PDA. share ur experience

i'm planning to get a PDA phone, current preferred choice is o2 XDA 2i. considering it is a big sum of investment to me, im choosing it carefully so tht i wanna makesure i wont regret after getting it. so,i wanna know the experience of xda 2i users out there

btw, i oso hope tht some PDA experts can help me to solve some of the following questions tht i wud like to know

1. considering tht xda 2i is using Intel XScale PXA272 processor (520mhz) and xda 2s is using some other intel processor (416mhz if i'm not mistaken). although both of them hv different type of processor, but can i compare their processor performance solely on clock speed? (since 520mhz is more than 416mhz, xda 2i is faster?)

2. dopod 900 is using Intel Bulverde (520mhz) wif 64 RAM and 128 ROM. Since xda 2i processor has the same clock speed wif dopod 900, infact, xda 2i has 128 RAm and 128 ROM, can i conclude that the hadrware performance of XDA 2i can par or might be faster than dopod 900?

3. wat's the different between windows mobile 2003 SE and windows mobile 5.0 ? (wat's the biggest feature-wise advantage tht WM 5.0 hav) can xda 2i flash and convert to windows mobile 5.0 ?

4. there r diff types of SD / MMc card out there. i wanna know wat's the best or suitable type of memory card for PDA / xda 2i

although ppl said the design of xda 2i sucks bocz it's almost or exactly the same wif the old xda 2 but i really dun mind. nvm the size. dopod 818 and atom has 2 mega pixel cam but i seldom use camera wif pda, so im quite satisfied wif 1.3 mp.

i hv heard complains abt xda 2i regarding of system hang very often and sometimes cannot pick up call and stuff. Is tht true? how's the speaker sound quality of xda 2i?

roughly wat is the best deal tht i can get for xda 2i out there? (rm2100 new ori full set cheap or not?)
