Hi all,
Just wondering, attached is the data speed for all 3 types of drive currently on my new pc setup. Is this normal?
1. 1TB Samsung 970 EVO nvme -- 3500+mb read and 2300+ write
2. 1TB Crucial MX500 SSD drive -- 550+write and 465read
3. WD Black 6TB 256 cache SATA --240+ read and 230+write

Where should i store my games actually? Looking at the numbers, SSD and Nvme would be the wise choice but kinda rugi not using my 6TB hd. Advise appreciated! Thanks!

Guys and all IT guru, my company will start implementing this Standard Operating Environment this Monday 3rd June 2013. Among the things that will effect me is the unavailabilty of control panel and admin rights to my company laptop. My question now is, is there anyway around this? I believe this is only software related and I think there should be a way or a loop hole. Appreciate specialists comments and guidance.

So i designed a mosaic of my wife boss as a farewell present and I'm stuck in determining how much i should charge her department or Perodua. Below is the work i did and i took me 2 solid hours of thinking and cs3 work to come out with the result.. Here's the picture and i need your help in determining the costs incurred. Appreciate it!

Hi All Car sifu's out there.

I have really weird and serious problem. I own a honda civic 1.7 year 2000 and up to yesterday has given me 0 problems. It happen in the middle of the road when i try to engage D. My car just wont go. It seems in the N gear. But here's the weird thing, if i try to corner hard left or right, it engages to D or R (reverse) but damn slow. I had to press the fuel pedal aggressively just to run 10 - 20 meters. This is how i got my car to the mechanic in the first place. I had to maneuver left and right whilst pressing the fuel carefully to the car shop. To make matter worst, the mechanic doesn't know jack whats wrong with my car and jump straight into conclusion that my gear is the problem . My theory is if its the gear problem; it wont drive at all. This is where i need all the Sifu's outhere. Whats wrong with my car? Appreciate any fast reply and guide. Thank you in advanced.

Guys, i've just received my PSP from my bro a couple weeks back (i lend it to him as he's studying in russia now heheh) and i would say that i'm completely clueless about all the recent updates on this PSP. Just want to thank Ken from Viewnet for his wonderfull service. Beforehand i was lost due to the fact that the new intel chipset the p35 just arrived in LYP. i was ready with my own list and was damn frustrated when my board of choice the asus p5b deluxe was mia heheheh.....

Hi All,

I'm one unlucky guy. My main rig's cpu just blew up!!! Now i'm in need of advice. FYI, my rig's spec are as follow.

3.2 gig p4 HT
Asus Deluxe (Forgot already ... heheh) with a 478 socket
Power color's ATI X800XT Agp
Mushkin 2 gig ram ---> dunno whether this is ddr or ddr2 but its a pc3200 bought from the us a couple of years ago
Antec Truepower 480 watts

Already verified with a technician that my cpu is dead but all are working fine. My question is, i'm planning to seek for a replacement for my cpu but after checking sect 14 digital mall and calling a few friends in LYP, they say that the 478 socket cpu already kaput.

Now i'm left with only one option that is to upgrade. Can i reuse back all my components and change the mobo and the cpu? Is it possible? Can any1 suggest me a 77f mobo which can be fitted with my old 3d agp card? Can someone help to suggest a new system? Can i reuse back my power supply? Appreciate a speedy and infrmative answer. Appreciate it very much and thanks in advance!!

Hi guys, i am wondering la, is it possible to use maxis broadband and streamyx 2gether? FYI, i am wifi connected through my belkin router which is directly connected to streamyx.

Due to the fact that streamyx dl rate seems to be super lousy these days, i used my maxis broadband connection to connect to the net and its damn fast!. Anyways, this made me thinking, whether i could merge these 2 connection together to get a super fast connection. Is it possible? If yes, anyone knows the setting? How do i set up my router and etc? Appreciate your advice. Thank you in advance.

Can't Login into Windows

Hi All,

As usual, Lowyat.net pops into into my mind when ever a huge problem is encountered and usually, Lowyat.net saves the day.

Ok people. My problem description as follow:

1.All this while i am using the windows vista transformation pack without any glitches.

2.Surfed around and later that ATI has a new driver ready. Downloaded and uninstalled the previous driver using the control panel without ant issues.

3.Restarted and this is when the problem surfaced.

4.Previously my background was set at 1280 * 768 bit but now it was reset at 800 times 600 (i think?)

5.Now my vista login just wont show me the login box which makes it impossible for me to input my admin password which ultimately locks me out from my main computer.

6. Luckily i have my laptop around and now its 3 days since i failed to get any useful info that could help me rectify this situation.

Please guys, i hope there are experts out here that could save and enlighten me... Please, appreciate it guys.
