Hi All,

My processor is rated to be 2.3GHz (200FSB x 11.5 multiplier). But as of late my multiplier somehow seems to be stuck at 5.75, dropping my cpu clock speed to around 1.15GHz. I understand that the AMD proc has this feature called 'Cool n Quiet' to drop the multiplier whenever the CPU is not on load. I disabled 'Cool n Quiet' feature in bios but problem still persist. I run prime95 which loaded all 4 cores 100% but the multiplier still remains at 5.75. I have also included a screenshot to show.

PC Spec:
CPU - AMD Phenom X4 9650
RAM - 2GB Kingston
Mobo - Asus M4N78 Pro
GPU - Geforce GT240
HDD - WD SATA
OS - Win XP SP3

Tried:
1. Disable Cool n quiet
2. upgraded mobo bios to latest version
3. upgraded all drivers to latest version

hope someone can share some light. it's irritating that my processor is running at a miserable 1.15GHz only.

Streamyx 1Mbps combo upgrade to 2Mbps

Hi all,

just wanna get some feedback from any 1Mbps combo users that have upgraded to 2Mbps via the Streamyx Super Deal 3.

Kindly state your download/upload while on 1Mbps package and then your download/upload after upgrading to 2Mbps package.

reason why i'm asking this is because currently i'm on 1Mbps package but i'm able to get 1.5Mbps/384kbps. i'm afraid that after upgrading to 2Mbps i'll only be able to get little to no improvement from 1.5Mbps. if can get +- 1.8Mbps for extra rm10 a month from the 2Mbps package, i wouldn't mind.

anyways, i'm from Kota Damansara area.
