can you play loud

when i start my hifi journey, i play very soft and only care about vocal, background music was not so important for me, when i play loud, the sound quality change lousy, i thought it was my system problems, so i keep upgrade my system from midfi to high end gear, it improve a lot but i still cant play loud, after i extreme treated my room with bass traps and diffuser, now i can play loud with happy sound. ( you will lost a lot of details when you play soft )

I tried many playback software for pc , i would like to share some experience about playback software, i used foobar 2k, cplay and some pro recording software, sawstudio is better , their demo is free if you only using for playback but not user friendly, give it a try, you will love it.
