Most of mat rempits and gangsters come from lower income groups staying either in low cost housing areas or squatters. Will a law to move them away from cities be effective to reduce the crime rates?

We can just let capitalism do its work and they will be forced out of the city slowly but most of the time they will resort to criminal activities to survive or just to vent their frustration at society.

Yesterday got someone say motorcyclists should be banned.. Well I always believe it's a bad idea.. Sure it's true that many scums like snatch thieves and rempits roamed on this two-wheeled machines.. However since the forumer put the premise because of nuisance during traffic jam, I would put these two reasons below why it's a bad idea to ban motorcyclists:

1) Imagine if all the motorcyclists drove cars instead to work.. The jam level gonna increase exponentially.. Not to mention the massive reduction of available parking space.. Sure the parking rate also increases as a result.. Then the petrol pump queues also become longer as motorcyclists usually pump RM5 then chow as oppose to cars between RM50-RM100 which takes a longer time.. Those who use public transport would also rage because a sudden influx of people causing full coaches/carriages..

2) Though there a lot of white collar workers use motorcycle to work most of them are blue collar workers.. Imagine if they too drove cars.. they will ask higher minimum wage hence your cost for food and services will also increase..

Question about credit card payment

Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding credit card payment. I normally pay my CC via maybank2u since my CC also from maybank. And I found out that I cannot pay any amount more than what I owe.

Now for my wife she uses RHB, so she normally pay via cash deposit. My question is what if she deposit more than the amount she owes. Will it reflect as negative balance like how we pay the bills?

I remember back in 2006 Khairy and Jason Lo set up My Team to find Malaysian hidden football talent. Then almost the whole Malaysia supported MyTeam playing against Malaysian U-23 National team which resulted in Malaysia U-23 winning 2-0, both from freekicks.

The second season MyTeam went against Indonesian National team (also look like junior team) which MyTeam lost again 2-0. Then they formed UPB-MyTeam and got promoted to Super League and now last I read they dissolved in 2009.

Most of the players quit their jobs to join the selection. Whatever happened to them now? Only Mat Yo I know successful after leaving UPB-MyTeam but he played for N9 and Perak before and was not part of the MyTeam selection.

Before that also Astro hosts SoccerStars which I also don't know what happened to all of the selected ones. Seems more like a marketing gimmick to collect money from sponsors then tutup kedai.

Hi Guys,

I'm engaged since May this year and plan to get married end of this year. Here's the thing, my fiance is pretty with the cute type look. Every now and then there will be guys hitting on her but she just smile politely or tell them shes engaged. Even there will be aunties wanting to introduce their sons to her etc. Of coz this happens when im not with her.

I mean I put a ring liao on her finger. In fact two, one plain gold and one with solitaire cut. But people always seem to thought that shes single.

Do I need to put a bigger ring or a necklace with my name on it or should I just accept the fact that she will be hit on most of the time and just be cool and trust that she loves only me?

For all you guys out there if you want a really attractive girl, please bear in mind there will be other guys who will be interested as well. Learn to live with it.

Had an argument yesterday with my girlfriend. I told her after getting married cannot simply go out with a guy and she got very upset. She told me most of her friends are guys so she wouldn't have any friends if i prevent her from meeting her guy friends. She also felt she will feel bored if i was outstation etc so she wants to meet her friends (guys) and also catching up with old friends (guys).

She tot i was very controlling for not allowing to meet her friends. Ok izit juz me or you guys are ok with your wife going out with other guys? Include movies, shopping, makan together. She's my wife what afterall.

My girlfriend lunching with a guy

So my girlfriend's ex-colleague who is a guy invited her for lunch, said that he will belanja her. My girlfriend told me about it but never asked if I was ok with it.

I'm in a dilemma also whether should I be the protective boyfriend and tell her don't lunch with the guy and go lunch with her instead OR be the cool guy whose ok with whoever she wants to eat with and trust her.

What do you guys think?
