Hey guys,

I'm getting a laptop and there are two models in my list but I'm still undecided.
Was just hoping to get some advice and honest comments about these two,

- HP dv3 4121t

- Sony Y series VPCYB15AG

I'm getting it because I'm going to college so I'm not looking for something that too heavy or big.
And I've already got a desktop at home so it's all about light & thin and hopefully the performance is slighty better than average.

Also, I've heard that HP has heat issues while Sony has slow boot up issues.. And these are the problems that I hope to avoid. So I'm quite frustrated on which one to go for as well.

So I guess that's all, hope you guys will leave some advice and tips!

I recently bought a Birkenstock from that Germany site cause Singapore Birkenstock outlets all ran out of stock.
So, I purchased a pair of Birkenstock Davos from the site provided above.
And my friend said my Davos seems fake.
And I was like WTF? I paid around RM370 and got insulted like that.

Item being sold/bought: Paypal funds $400 and paypal funds $150

Date of transaction: 27th of September and 23rd of September

Details of the complaint :

On the 23rd of September - Bought $150 from bbworld, paypal account that sent to me was asfari711@hotmail.com and bank account name was Chang Weng Boon.
On the 24th of September - Funds were on hold by paypal and under investigation, as I've forgotten who Chang Weng Boon was, I added asfari711@hotmail.com and thought it was him that I bought funds from, so I asked what happened. He explained blurly and when I say I will send the printscreen to him, he asked me what's printscreen He went offline after a day, and never came back on. And so I thought.. I'm just another dumb ass. So I moved on with life..

On the 27th of September - bbworld told me he has $400, and I was in need of funds that time, so I bought from him, the paypal sender's name was fox jennifer, and I bank in to his account, Chang Weng Boon. And I thought, Chang Weng Boon? Sounds familiar.. But I didn't check or what since the transaction is complete.
On the 13th of October - $400 from fox jennifer were reversed, and I was like So I check my Maybank history and Paypal, and realised it's from Chang Weng Boon, then I find his name from that page and found out the 2 transactions were made to him, that time I've forgotten who Chang Weng Boon is until I saw his YM name c_wboon and he has replied my PM. So I asked him why.. and I asked if he's the middleman and in the end he say he's just a middleman and need time to settle, so I asked him when can I know how and when he can settle this. He said he's a middleman so he can't do anything and asked me to write to Paypal, which I did but I guess it's futile as Paypal will say it's a fraud payment and no more.

That's briefly what happened. I just want a date on when can he settle this as I need the money to refund my other buyers too. I'm not gonna let my RM1809 gone just like that. Now bbworld and that dont-know-what-guy has untung, and I rugi all. Like what the hell man? I'll let you guys be the judges.

He refunded RM200 on the first month,
RM100 the second month,
but he stopped refunding the this month.

Hey guys,

I'm kinda new to this 'place'. Cause everytime I come to lowyat, I'm either on the Musicians site or the Garage Sales. Anyways, I'm form 4 this year, gonna sit for my SPM next year. Well, I've been thinking about what course I'm taking after SPM, I know it's kinda early to thinka bout it. But I don't wanna make any wrong choices. I'm actually interested in arts & designs, but my drawing is ugly. Just wanna ask, do I need nice drawings to take arts & designs courses?
And, are there any other things that I should know about arts & designs? Your advices and tips will be appreciated much!

After reading most of the topics about guitar pickups, I feel like changing mine. Not because I got influenced, but it's cause I like playing punk rock music, and my pickups are S-S-H. I feel like changing them to H-H, is it possible? Cause it doesn't seem like I can change it. Or is the S-S-H combination enough to play songs like I Wanna by All American Rejects(Just an example)

What are the differences actually? And also the BOSS OS pedals and OD pedals.

My band's performing during my school's concert night. Oh right, I'm in a secondary school.
My band has 2 guitarists, 1 keyboardist and of course, a drummer
Hmm.. Was just wondering if there are any advice on how should I place the amps, any effects I should get and stuffs.
