HELP Latest business policy

My boss is about to start a business and new to all the business setup, while I have very limited resources, I have to manage all the business administration change myself.

Is there a place where I can get notified and read about all the government policy changes that will impact the business? Sdn Bhd per say. Something like tax, accounting, rebate, incentive and etc.

Chances to pay off homeloan

I had a home loan with UOB but it wasn't exactly flexi. I was told by the loan manager upon signing the loan agreement, paying advance on loan principal amount is always acceptable although the agreement said subject to manager approval with written request.

Now first 10% of the loan released and I wanted to pay off the entire 10%. What is the chances of this? Am I naive to trust 100% the loan manager?

I'm going write the formal request next week. Wonder what is the chances given the loan is not 100% facilitated. Thank you.

Hi all,
I went to Suzuki panel workshop for 9 years. (No longer panel, since Suzuki no more in Malaysia) Recently I have a problem with my starter and compressor replaced. Without having second thoughts, I ask them to just fix it. Then I found about on mudah/lelong, it the part don't cost at much.

Starter (not original) -RM 850
Compressor (recon) - RM 1500
Aircon hose - RM100
Labor charges ++

Total bill RM2680.

It's Suzuki Swift, model 2010...

Is that a fair price, guys?

The purpose of this post is not to be regret about what has been paid, but help me decide if I should went with a different workshop that is more honest....

I was iOS user and using Android. I spend most time searching for ios inside android. You get what I mean. I realise one thing. Huawei Emui work differently on Android Pie.

So I found android still don't have 'undo' feature like ios...

Now I'm searching to enable Dark Mode in my mate 20. The intenet suggest it in setting > display > device theme > select dark mode, but not in emui 9.

Changing phone display theme to dark theme don't work. The some button don't change it...

Help!!! What I got myself into? I missed iPhone.

I have a fintech idea but not sure if is legal under any existing regulation in Malaysia, for example under financial service act or security commission.

Seeing at how Malaysia is a business-friendly place, from the case oBike vs MBPJ, I'm worried.

So I'm wondering if there are such free advisory service to check if the fintech idea is legal in Malaysia? Preferably free service and bank negara-related source.

Kaodim is helping bookkeeper suicide

My friend recently joined kaodim as freelance accountant to earn some extra buck. (I recommended him recommn too)

He was surprised to see all kind of cheapskate request. He showed me screenshot of the request from kaodim customer that he think is an insult. (According to his words)

Request for things like: Looking for freelance bookkeeper to be on site twice weekly to do everything A to Z, and it's a construction company.

My friend say he bid that job for 100 per trip. Not sure his price too expensive or trip after office hour is not preferable.

To be fair, that sound like a full time job to me too instead of part time.

The point is if you need anything more than weekly service for A-Z, then it's a full time job. Anyway, I know many freelance mother worked as bookkeeper charge very low.

I'm wondering would there be a day their price for bookkeeping will be standardized.

Years ago we heard all businesses who played music in their business premises need to register and pay music loyalty. Pay to PPM if not mistaken.

I wonder do they need to pay PPM (Malaysian music loyalty authority) if play from Spotify? Since Spotify subscriber already paying loyalty to artist via Spotify (as Spotify claim).

Hi,
I'm 40 and I need to get a circumcision done on my foreskin. When it enlarge, it wraps the head. Sometimes I can flip it open. On bad day, it tear when flip (no blood or any visible scar) and it's very painful. I can't clean it for few days until it heal (no more pain), not to mention no xxx life during healing time.

Question, any kind of company medical card or personal medical insurance cover expenses like this?

[WTA] Small lump on my sack!

Hi...
I got 3 small lumps growing under my scrotum.
It developed few years ago when I had rashes, may be underwear too tight, and it's itchy until I scratched my sack to bleed, lightly.
When it heals, i scratch. After many times, some worn not heal normally, but grow into lumps.
It stays there like that.

Note: Inside those lumps is not grease, it's more like whole flesh.

Should I go hospital or clinics for surgery to remove those small lumps? How much roughly would it cause for this minor surgery? How long it takes to heal?

This is kinda embarrassing question to ask anyone...
