Some question about streamyx

Hi all, i am moving house soon, so having some question on my streamyx.

i am using streamyx combo 1Mbps packages, so the phone line does not have monthly fee.

after i move house, what should i do? the phone number is going to change, because i am goign to register a phone line over the new place.

am i just need to register a phone line, and go any tm-point to let them know my streamyx account is attached to other phone number ? or?

am i need to pay again those "activation fee"?

Compaq v3222AU, Cannot boot up, HELP

HELP HELP HELP...

My Compaq v3222AU which i had bought last year, and the warranty had just passed, and the laptop cannot boot up now, the power is on, but the screen keep blank for a very long while, nothing happen, seem hang !!! any one facing the same problem also?

what should i do?

is there any Arch linux user? is arch like the gentoo, always up to date if u perform update the whole system?

ya, this sound possible but i haven try yet...

let say, i install a few linux, say,multiboot ubuntu,Suse, and Fedora...
and i only create one swap partition, then no matter which linux i boot, they also use the same partition for swap...

any one try b4? is it possible?

Ubuntu preinstall system auto mount all our drive if possible... i like this.... but an icon will be shown on the desktop for each drive it mounts... did any one know how to set ubuntu won appear the drive that it mount automately?

to start the x server we use "startx"
but... to abort it? what should we use?

nothing special... just want to recommand a very good website for linux beginner.... i think linux expert can also go there to learn more thing...

but is a kinda sad for "banana", that website is pure traditional chinese.

a lot of thing cover, to start learning linux.... go there, start everything from basic . the author cover about the linux history,and he recommand focus on shell script which is so basic and can do everything in linux..

does anyone know how to make the line or any shape drawing on the form or any where doesn't disappear after minimize and activate again....

for example:

public void draw()
{
Point pt1 = new Point(50, 50);
Point pt2 = new Point(150, 150);

Graphics g = Graphics.FromHwnd(this.Handle);

Pen pn = new Pen(Color.Blue, 4);

g.DrawLine(pn, pt1, pt2);

pn.Dispose();
g.Dispose();
}

when call this function, it will draw a line on the form...
but the line will disappear after minimize and activated the form.
*the code above is Visual C#....
