random freeze and hang on my 6k rig

Hey guys thanks for taking the time to read this,

my rig:

psu : corsair hx750
mobo : ASUS Maximus IV GENE-Z
processor : i7 2600k
gpu : gigabyte gtx 580
ssd : pyro 120gig
hdd : WD black caviar 1tb
cpu cooler : corsair h100
ram : 2 x 4gb gskill 1600mhz

Ok, got this rig about 2 months ago.

First off whenever i restore a closed browser with more than 5 - 10 tabs it will slow down and sorta "hang", so I would do the obvious ctrl+alt+tab, this would prompt the message preparing to configure windows. Sometimes it will go to the menu where u have options to lock the computer, switch user and etc.. sometimes i wont be able to even go to the menu and the whole system will just hang there till I have to make a hard reset.

Second problem, whenever i game on this thing. From bf3 to HoN, it will randomly freeze and would produce a buzzing sound from my speakers, again I would have to make a hard reset.

My computer is clean without any virus, it cant be overheating as my cpu always hit 50c max, drivers on all components are all updated.

When i run after effects, photshop, and premier pro at the same time (maxing my ram) it doesnt hang or anything.

Could it be my gpu overheating(never had a chance to check on it when i game)?

I ran out of ideas here and would love to hear any suggestions from you guys, thanks in advance.
4.5k gaming rig

So yeah, as my topic title states..i already got a monitor for the rig. I've been doing some research of my own, got a list of
products i want. Just need some fine tuning and input :

CPU - 3.3GHz Intel Core i5-2500K
Motherboard - MSI P67A-GD53 (B3)
Memory - 8gb 1,600mhz DDR3
GPU - GTX 580 or ATI 6970
PSU - Recommendation please..prefer a modular psu
HDD - 2TB hdd
SSD - Recommendation please..i think 64gb is the sweet spot for the os
sound card - asus xonar
optical - will look for one that fits the colour scheme of the case

i left out the case and cpu cooler due to the fact that i may not be able to get the coolers or case because i am currently in
melbourne..so i guess those 2 can be put to a side.

I guess the most important part of this rig is the graphics card..powering this monitor can be a bit of a b**ch.

Headphone sightings

Just a fun thread on what headphones you see on your daily commute to class or work, or even in shopping malls.

My daily commute to work on train, i notice a load of iBuds. Occasionally some creative, cheap sony buds, monster beats(lots of teenagers using it, seems like the market is aimed at teens).

Funniest one would be a guy listening to his ipod nano with a computer headphone with mic, the generic once that hang over ur ears and goes to the back.

Best i've seen,a pair of ie7 on a chick..really got my attention.

Anyone else keeping an eye on what other ppl are using?

How much does it cost to clean my dslr sensor?

Using a Canon 400d, and my sensor has some debris in it. Should I just buy a cleaning kit? Or is it more convenient to bring it to a shop to clean it?
If it is more convenient to send it to a shop, where would you recommend?

How do you avoid people from tapping your screen.

Usually this happens when people is trying to point out something on the screen, or people just have itchy fingers.
I know this is not a serious issue, but its one of my pet peeves that i cant overlook.

In the end, you can see me using my cleaning kit trying to get the finger marks off my MBP screen.

Question is what do you do to avoid this?
