How often do you get the opportunity to buy a car that’s a complete one-off? Think about it – we’re not talking a one-off paint job and some ‘bespoke stickers’. And happily we’re nowhere near the realms of the £12m Bugatti La Voiture Noire either.

What we have here is a 1996 Stevens Cipher Coupe. Or to be more precise – the 1996 Stevens Cipher Coupe.

Fancy some background? Well, in the 1990s car designer Professor Tony Stevens was approached by the Tuwin Corporation of Malaysia. They wanted to develop a sporty new car using Proton/Mitsubishi running gear, and Stevens had previous in developing the Cipher Roadster, with examples based on Reliant Kittens and Lada Samaras. Did someone say sporty?

Anyway, Stevens designed the Cipher Coupe for the project and the plan was to build 50,000 examples on Proton production lines, but just one prototype was completed before the Malaysian economy collapsed and the deal fell through.

So, what you have here is a small, 1990s two-door coupe that (in our opinion at least) looks rather splendid, but is based on a Proton Satria and uses a 1.8-litre four-pot Mitsubishi engine.

Fancy owning it? Well, it’s been in storage since the late 1990s, but Stevens has now decided to sell, and you can buy the thing over on Car & Classic with an auction kicking off next week. You’ll even get all the body panel mouldings thrown in for free should you ever have a ding that won’t buff out. Oh, and the windscreen is from a 1995 Renault 5.

There are proper period Recaro seats inside too, although the dash just come straight from the Satria. Apparently everything except the fuel gauge currently works though, so it sure is reliable. Just try not to look at the panel gaps if you have a love for build quality. This was a prototype after all…

IRISH singer Sinead O'Connor has revealed she has renounced Catholicism and converted to Islam, taking the new name "Shuhada' Davitt".

O'Connor, who last year changed her legal name to Magda Davitt, said she had ditched the Catholic Church for good in a message to fans on Twitter.

The 51-year-old was previously ordained a priest by a breakaway Catholic sect, the Irish Orthodox Catholic and Apostolic Church, in the late 1990s.

But in a series of recent tweets, the Dubliner revealed she had swapped the clerical collar for the hijab and become a Muslim.

The musician, who underwent intensive mental health treatment in the US last year with the help of Dr Phil, went on to post a video of herself singing the Adhan - the Islamic call to prayer.

In another tweet, she added: "Sorry re all the mistakes in my Azan.... 1st attempt. When I’ve practiced it 30 times i’m Gonna make the world stop turning".

O'Connor also revealed she had received her first Hijab with the help of a friend in Dublin.

In an exclusive interview with the Daily Mail earlier this week, O'Connor - identified by her 'former' name - revealed she was collaborating with Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones, Irish actor Cillian Murphy, Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and singer Imelda May for a new EP.

'One More Yard' will pay tribute to a young Irish First World War soldier, Michael Thomas Wall, and uses words from 90 letters he wrote home during the conflict.

All proceeds raised from sales of the EP will go to a cancer charity.

Stopped By The Police

John and Jessica were on their way home from the bar one night and John got pulled over by the police.
The officer told John that he was stopped because his tail light was burned out. John said,
"I'm very sorry officer, I didn't realize it was out, I'll get it fixed right away."
Just then Jessica said, "I knew this would happen when I told you two days ago to get that light fixed."
So the officer asked for John's license and after looking at it said, "Sir your license has expired."
And again John apologized and mentioned that he didn't realize that it had expired and would take care of it first thing in the morning.
Jessica said, "I told you a week ago that the state sent you a letter telling you that your license had expired."
Well by this time, John is a bit upset with his wife contradicting him in front of the officer,
and he said in a rather loud voice, "Jessica, shut your mouth!"
The officer then leaned over toward Jessica and asked. "Does your husband always talk to you like that?"
Jessica replied, "only when he's drunk."

3 choices for pregnant lady with medical condition

I have a staff that is having some difficult choices to make. Here is the summary of the situation :

- She is 6 months pregnant
- 2 weeks ago she was bleeding, diagnosed with an infection(also infected the baby)
- Last week it was discovered she has pneumonia, high blood pressure, diabetes
- Tuesday she was admitted into ICU
- Today she is already out of ICU but the Doctor gave her 3 choices :
a. To deliver he baby as soon as possible(the baby will definitely not survive,risk to her minimum)
b. To wait for her blood pressure to rise again then deliver the baby(higher risk for her and the baby)
c. To just wait and let nature takes it's course(since baby already infected,it might not make it in the womb and may affect her too later on)

She has come to me and seek advice. I told her that I am not a doctor but if it was up to me I would take option no. 1 as even though the baby will definitely not make it at least she has the biggest chance of surviving and they can try again to have a baby in the future. Even if she can't conceive again they can always adopt.

The problem is now the husband's family is insisting they keep the baby as they badly want a grandchild. Her husband's decision might be skewed from the pressure of his family. I know she is in no condition to make any rational decision at the moment and the husband is the key to making the ultimate decision.

I can talk to her husband and try to sway him into making the right choice but I am not even a family member so I don't think I should interfere. But she is my staff after all and I want the best for them.

So my question is :

1. Do you think my recommended choice is right?
2. Do you think I should advise the husband?

I just want an opinion from the experts here.

People who look young for their age 'live longer'

People blessed with youthful faces are more likely to live to a ripe old age than those who
look more than their years, work shows. Danish scientists say appearance alone can predict
survival, after they studied 387 pairs of twins. The researchers asked nurses, trainee
teachers and peers to guess the age of the twins from mug shots. Those rated younger-looking
tended to outlive their older-looking sibling, the British Medical Journal reports. Survival advantage
The researchers also found a plausible biological explanation for their results. Key pieces of
DNA called telomeres, which indicate the ability of cells to replicate, are also linked to how young
a person looks.

A telomere of shorter length is thought to signify faster ageing and has been linked with a number
of diseases. In the study, the people who looked younger had longer telomeres. All of the twins
were in their 70s, 80s or 90s when they were photographed. Over a seven-year follow-up the
researchers, led by Professor Kaare Christensen of the University of Southern Denmark, found
that the bigger the difference in perceived age within a pair, the more likely it was that the
older-looking twin died first. The age, sex and professional background of the assessors made
no difference to any of the results.

Professor Christensen said it might be that people who have had a tougher life are more likely to
die early - and their life is reflected in their face. The researchers told the BMJ: "Perceived age,
which is widely used by clinicians as a general indication of a patient's health, is a robust biomarker
of ageing that predicts survival among those aged over 70." Professor Tim Spector, a UK expert
who has been doing his own twin research, said: "We are also finding this in our study. "It's probably

I had a nightmare and I cant sleep so I wrote it while it was still fresh. It's very long so if u are lazy don't bother to read.
