Today I went to workshops again, but it's different workshops now. My car produced sound like "nyet nyet", must be something to do with suspension/absorber. So I picked 2 different workshops and both said mounting problem, and ask them how much to change the mounting.

So I pick the lowest one, rm 40 for one side. (my car had problem with one side only)

so I paid them 40. Is it okay? or did they con me?

As per title, today was my first time sending my car for servicing ( my dad asked me) . I know shit about cars, and was really hesitate (don't want to be conned), really didn't know what to ask. Below was my conversation with a-beng.

Me: Bro, nak service car? can?

Then,

ah beng: what oil you use?

me : Shell ( answered with confidence )

ah beng: no la, your engine oil

me : not shell ka?

ah beng: no la, lemme check.

He then went to my driver seat looking for something on the front seat...

me : what are you looking for

ah beng : the oil sticker

I was like oh mai...I just threw it off my car (it always came off )

ah beng : do you want 10k one or 7k?

me : WTF!! why so expensive?!

ah beng : not the price, for millage?

me : ermm, what's the differences?

ah beng: one is fully synthetic, and one is semi. Fully synthetic is good for your car, very clean. I recommend fully synthetic, but a bit expensive

the way he look at me, it was so fishy. I is scared he will conned me. Then,

Then, after 20 minutes, my car is done. That was so fast. So /k what else do you change when servicing your car other than oil engine and filter?

he charged me for rm120. he said labor free of charge. I was so skeptical. Is it true?
