Yup, still here.

Why did my thread got closed? It was a perfectly fine discussion thread with everybody abiding by the rules. But still got closed? Is it a bannable offense to question the actions of the mods even when they abuse it? As can be seen in my thread so many people was affected by this corruption. It was not a complain thread, it was a mature and perfectly calm discussion with my fellow forumers. That is what a forum is for right?

So mods, tell me, why is such discussion prohibited in Kopitiam? This is Kopitiam right? A casual place to hangout and talk cock, not RWI PHD talk. Do we forumers do not have the right to have a discussion about abuse of power? Or is it against the forum rules to insult a mod? Just need some clarification.

Oh by the way, thank you [@goldfries] for cancelling my perma. I will be super nice from now on.

Hello guys, first of all, I bukak thread so I butthurt, confirmed.

Now, to a more serious issue. I would like to bring one issue into your attention, which is power abuse by the mods. We all know how immature and emotional some mods are, some of them act as if everybody in LYN should obey rules that doesn't exist at all. Such case can be seen in various suspension punishment ranging from silly unwarranted ban to a tolitarian warning. Case in point, I was permaban for calling the death of Jews, never see the same punishment with numerous people calling for the death of all Muslims on daily basis. Then when I speak up against the mods, I was given a warning for insulting the mods, which I didn't. Say what? You cannot insult the mods now? Didn't know LYN was exactly like UMNO and mods are like Rosmah. Cannot talk bad about them at all or face the wrath of pubescent emotional kiddies. Good to see Malaysian culture is strong in this one.

Need some help sourcing out some stuff. Anybody know where I can get these items for free or cheap? Must be used and didn't store any chemicals in it's lifetime.

Or any lead to some scrapyard/junkstore/shop/factory that might give some away or willing to sell it for few pennies. Any kind of help will be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to grow food in my backyard. Don't have any experience with farming/planting but keen to learn. I need help with these :

2. Bak Chor Mee

3. Mee Poh Tah

This was created by Mr Choo of No Signboard way back when. He felt the then popular black pepper crabs left a bitter aftertaste. So, this was created.

6. Roti John

Once upon a time, Mr Shukor wanted to attract the westerners living around the Cluny Road area to his humble Taman Serasi (Botanic Gardens Hawker Centre) hawker stall decades ago. So he created a pan seared “meat loaf” using eggs, onions and minced mutton. They came and the rest is history.

7. Cha Hae Mee or Fried Hokkien Prawn Noodle

This dish was first seen post war around the Rochor Road area- which is why the old name for this dish is Rochor Mee. Chinese migrants would buy leftover seafood from the Beach Road seaside fishmongers and fry it diligently into noodles with eggs.

Really all these food from Singapore one? Somehow I find rojak hard to believe.

Malaysia's SapuraKencana signs $5 bln refinancing to help fund acquisitions

(Reuters) - Malaysian oilfield service provider SapuraKencana Petroleum Bhd said on Thursday it has signed a $5 billion refinancing deal with 13 banks to partly fund two of its most recent acquisitions.

The company bought Seadrill Ltd's tender rig business in 2012 and the entire equity stake of Newfield Exploration Co's Malaysian oil and gas assets last year.

The refinancing was also done to replace and streamline its existing borrowing facilities, SapuraKencana said in a statement.

The deal, of which 70 percent is in U.S. dollars, constitutes a senior multi-currency term and revolving facilities with short and long-term tenures of up to seven years, according to the company.

Maybank and CIMB were the coordinating banks while Maybank acted as the agent and the security agent, it added.

Shares of SapuraKencana ended the morning session 1.19 percent lower at 4.16 ringgit per share, underperforming the benchmark index's 0.23 percent drop. The shares have climbed 39.4 percent over the past year. (Reporting By Yantoultra Ngui; Editing by Matt Driskill)
