Photos of Girls at Geylang Raid Which Caught 170 with Military Police’s Help

A total of 170 people were arrested by the Singapore’s police in the recent Geylang raid. The 14-hour operation which began on 22 Jan 2010 Friday and ended on Saturday is believed to be one of the largest scale operation in recent months. It was reported that the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) led operation involved more than 200 personnel from the Singapore Police Force, Central Narcotics Bureau, Immigration & Checkpoints Authority, Singapore Customs and the Singapore Armed Forces Military Police Command.

The police arrested the people at the Geylang area from Lorong 4 to Lorong 24. They were mainly arrested for various transgressions such as illegal gambling, possession of an offensive weapon, etc. and investigations are currently still ongoing.

CRAZY Man Attack Pregnant Girl Over Ice-cream

Exposed: Chinese Man Attacked Pregnant Store Manager Over Ice-Cream Cone

In yet another weird news, a Chinese man from China was caught on CCTV attacking the female store manager of a fast food restaurant in WenZhou, China.

The Chinese media reported that the incident was triggered when the man’s girlfriend called the restaurant from a nearby internet cafe, requesting for delivery of an ice-cream cone. As the ice-cream is not an item in the restaurant’s delivery list, the request was rejected, despite another call by the boyfriend. The furious man than decided to march over to the fast food restaurant to confront the pregnant store manager.

What followed is quite horrifying as he began to attack the manager. The sad thing is that the group of restaurant workers and customers who witnessed the scenes did not try hard to stop the attacker, presumably because he was extremely aggressive. The China netizens however where not so kind. Other than condemning the acts of the man, they also chided those who were present watching the scene unfold but did little to interfere. These netizens bemoaned the general lack of compassion among the Chinese citizens.

The famous lingerie retailer, Victoria’s Secret will open in Singapore at Resorts World Sentosa in Q1 of 2010. This is great news for the brand’s Asian fans and the news came soon after Liu Wen became the first Asian Victoria’s Secret Angel in November 2009.

Ashvin Valiram, the director of Malaysian-based retailer Valiram Group, revealed to the media that after 5 long years of negotiations, his company will finally be able to bring in the first Victoria’s Secret store in Asia to Singapore.

This is big news for the Singapore’s bloggersphere. Congratulations! It all happened on last Friday 11 December 2009. Xiaxue is now officially engaged to her long-time boyfriend Mike, after he did a surprise proposal in collaboration with Nuffnang at their movie event “Couples Retreat”. According to Idreamtobreakaway, just after Nuffnang’s Ming gave a speech and just before the movie begin, Mike walked into the movie theatre with a camera crew, microphone, a red box presumably holding the diamond ring from Larry Jewellery and he said the words, “Baby will you marry me?” And guess what? Xiaxue supposedly said, “Oh my god!” And I am guessing that she agreed to the proposal and will be marrying him.

In an email to STOMP on 30 Nov 09, the STOMPer AK said, “I came across this blog, apparently belonging to a 20-year-old Singaporean girl from a polytechnic, who openly writes about her active casual sex life, even talking about having a foursome with her partner and another couple… Find it ironic that she writes in her blog about how she knows she has disappointed her parents, yet she posted her family photos in there, for all to see.”

Fann Wong is Down with H1N1 Flu

The diva of Mediacorp Singapore, Fann Wong, who recently married Christopher Lee on Sep 2009, is down with the H1N1 Influenza A Flu.

Fann Wong, who had just returned to Singapore on 19 Nov 2009 from Hainan Island, China, developed flu symptoms the next day and a fever on Sunday. Fann Wong was eventually diagnosed with the virus when she visited a doctor that evening.

The Mediacorp Singapore actress has since been given a 10 days worth of MC (medical leave).

The local full-feature comedy “Happy Go Lucky” held its first day shoot ceremony on Monday without the actress. Fann’s manager said that the movie which was planned to debut during the Chinese New Year period in 2010 is now in “tremendous chaos” as they need to adjust their filming plans to accomodate Fann Wong.

Gang Kills People for Fat & Sell to Cosmetic Co.

I have often heard that it may actually be harmful for the health if a girl diets too much and become skinny. And of course I have also heard about how being too fat can cause a variety of lifestyle diseases. But this news from Peru is new, and horrible. Perhaps this may become the new motivation to stay slim.

Four people have been arrested in Peru on suspicion of taking the lives of dozens of people in order to sell their fat and tissue for cosmetic uses in Europe.

The Republic of Peru is a country in western South America. It is bordered on the north by Ecuador and Colombia, on the east by Brazil, on the southeast by Bolivia, on the south by Chile, and on the west by the Pacific Ocean.

This Peruvian gang allegedly targeted people on remote roads, luring them with fake job offers before extracting their fat to sell it for US$15,850 (S$22,027) a litre.

Other suspected gang members, including two Italian nationals, remain on the loose.

The Peruvian police claimed that the gang could be behind the disappearances of more than 50 people in their country.

Police said they suspect the fat was sold to cosmetics and pharmaceutical companies in Europe, but currently do not have any evidences.

Advertlets is a Scam Advertising Network? Advertlets Not Paying? I Hate You Adverlets?!

Adverlets is a scam advertising network based in Malaysia and Singapore? Advertlets is not paying blog publishers? These are some of the questions that have been running through my mind lately. And I think I am beginning to hate Adverlets.com.

And my feelings are not unjustified or without basis, considering that I have ample experiences using a few other reputable ad networks and thus have the opportunities to compare the different payment and service standards.

The problems that I are facing with Advertlets are:

1. Advertlets is not paying!

2. Advertlets did not credit for sponsored post!

3. Advertlets’ customer service support is not responsive!

7000 Chinese Cinderellas Hope to Date Millionaire

More than 7,000 women from all over the country are applying for one of just 40 tickets to attend China’s version of Cinderella’s ball, where several multi-millionaires will pay around $5,400 for the privilege of meeting them, the organizer of the event told Reuters.

“It’s not just about the women finding their Prince Charming, but also the men finding their princess,” said Cheng Yongsheng of the organizers, matchmaking website JiaYuan.

“There are more and more single women in China nowadays who just want to find a good man. And if this man has money, that’s much better.”

This modern-day ball will take place on November 21 and 22, and include a lavish banquet, ball, accommodation at a luxury 5-star hotel and a cruise.

The organizers are also seeking 40 single males who are worth more than 50 million yuan (more than $7 million) each, but Cheng said only 10 had applied so far.

As for the women, they will be stringently screened for their looks, physique and intellect, with marriage counselors on hand to judge whether they are “kind, gentle and tasteful,” Cheng was quoted by the official Xinhua news agency as saying.

“Girls must be outstanding in many aspects such as appearance, figure and academic performance,” he added.

The website held a similar event last year which attracted 4,000 women but resulted in one successful match, Cheng said.

“Ten more couples are dating after the previous event. Rich men, because of their busy work and strict requirements for dating girls, find it hard to meet their Cinderellas,” he added.

China now has more known dollar billionaires than any other country outside the United States, according to a recent report.

Tracy Ang of Super Import Night Car Show “Fame” and Video of Audition with Steven Lim

When freelance model Tracy Ang, 33, noticed shutterbugs snapping away at the Super Import Nights car show at the Singapore Expo two weeks ago, she did what came most naturally – she posed for the cameras.

Never mind that her ultra-short dress made her reveal more than she intended – her black g-string were in clear view, for all to see. Worse, the cloth failed to protect her modesty completely. Her pubic hair was exposed!

Within hours, pictures of Ms Ang’s accidental exposure were all over several popular online forums, including citizen journalism site Stomp.

In an e-mail statement to the press, Ms Ang said she was supposed to meet a friend at the car show, but her friend was over an hour late.

She said: ‘While waiting for my friend, I went around looking at every car display. A photographer spotted me and requested for a single photoshoot. Then, I was swarmed by other unknown photographers.’

She said that as a professional model, she knew how to pose even without much direction from photographers.

She added: ‘I had no intention to do any shoot at Super Import Night. I miscalculated the length of my dress. I was wrong, and I deeply regret going there unprepared without much protection.’

Even Superman Flies Tiger Airline? Lol.

A man dressed up as Superman was spotted at the Changi budget terminal, surprising passengers and passers-by.

In apparently a publicity stunt, the man cleared the customs and eventually boarded a Tiger Airways flight.

In an email sent to STOMP today (Sep 28), the STOMPer wrote:

“I saw this guy at the airport and I took pictures of him with my phone.

“I think everyone was shocked to see Superman at the airport.”

1000 Cockroaches Appeared in Singapore!

Singapore is not that clean after all LOL. I wonder if Malaysia have such problems too?

Singapore is known internationally as a clean and fine garden city. Our country is often cited as the Garden of Eden where the streets are always void of litter. So this story must come as a shock, even for us Singaporeans.

On 28 August 2009 Friday afternoon about 5pm, more than a thousand cockroaches suddenly appeared from the dustbin chutes of a residential estate in Jurong East, Street 24, Block 252, Singapore.
