Citibank lost my application + my documents

Hi guys,

I've applied a CC with Citibank from a LYN member a month ago. Spoke with him thru PM / Calls. Once he sent me the application form to my email, i filled it up & faxed it back with my I/C, EPF, Bank Statement. I sent a soft copy to his email also. He called the next day to confirm that he has received my documents and its complete & will be sent for processing.

Last week,i called Citibank to check on the status. They said that my IC does not exist in their system. I said,i sent in all my documents abt 3-4weeks ago. They told me to call the sales person & check. I spoke to the sales person regarding this & he told me that he will Citi officers to get back to me regarding this matter. Till today, not one Citi officer called me. I smsed the Sales person again & told him that i will bring this to Citi's Client Care Unit if he doesnt get back to me.

and he replied :

I have already "HELP" to report in and I CANT REALLY UNDERSTAND WHATS THE MATTER, u can either call 03-23834455 to tell them u would not want to continue for the application or you can apply one more time. I guess they have "LOST" the application data from the system there.

I was like, wtf. I sent you my documents, you are suppose to make sure it is sent in & not tell me that its perhaps lost after a month. Is this the correct way?! Its my financial documents & I/C we are talking abt here.

So,what can i do besides speaking to the Client Care Unit.

P.s: I do take this thing seriously because i had a friend who's documents were misued & he ended up owing telco's which he has not used before.
