Hi all 3dstudio sifus,
i'm thinking of getting a new powerful pc to speed up my project rendering and here is the spec.

proccesor - intel core2 quad q9300 45nm
motherboard - P5K/EPU/intel P35/dual ddr2/S+GbE/Sata2/Energy Saving
ram - 4 X 1g kingston hyperx ddr2 800
graphic card - Asus En8500GT 512m ddr2 (128bit)
vista home premium (64 bit)

my questions.
1. is it the ideal setup?
2. does better or more expensive graphic card enhances the speed of rendering?
3. do vista support 3d studio max 7 and autocad 2004?
4. any website has the similar discussion?

Networking problem

Hi gurus,
this usb ethernet was working perfectly fine till i send my pc to change a new graphic card.

and it can't connect to network by giving me a "!" at local connection icon, i have checked and i don't think st268 is giving the problem. most probaly the setting i think.

So, please help to solve this problem for me

Need help with my 3ds project

hi, i'm currently having problem rendering my interior design project. Is is a cafe scene and before i change the chair that requested by my client, it renders ok. i suspect the new chair is giving me problem.

The minute i dump in the new chair and starts copying to abt 40units of them, my whole 3ds file start lagging and it took me 7 hours to render the first scene, i have another 4 scenes to go.

What can i do with the chair or it's there any setting to make the chair become not so detail to ease up the rendering.

it's those kopitiam chair i bought at turbosquid.com

Can any ice sifu explain what is the usage of this?

does it really make the sound better than the one without the preout?

if yes, what brand or model to consider? budget not more than 800
