Hi, not sure if this has been posted before. I'm in the midst of getting a terrace house in Bandar Utama 1, Petaling Jaya

During the lawyer-to-lawyer communication, to draft the SPA. Seller's lawyer informed that seller did not have the CF document. Have anyone or anyone that you know faced a similar issue for this area - as it's been developed decades ago. or how to go about?

Appreciate for your advice.

Apple Protection Plan

Does anyone have the experience of transferring the Apple Protection Plan (bought for Macbook Pro) to another user? The purchase is still under the 30 days duration.

I understand that the original owner needs to send in a written notice (airmail / walk in) to Apple Malaysia's office in Wisma Tenggara. Is there a format for it? Or just a simple authorization + agreement letter from both sides (with name, id, email, signature).

Appreciate if anyone could share their experience here. Cheers

After a while, you do really want to step out from the house to get a fresh air. Normally, where do you guys go to get a sip of coffee/tea in a nice ambient environment? Kindly exclude commercialised ones like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Old Town, Pappa Rich etc. Looking for something else. So yeah, in terms of good drinks plus the environment.

How to get another country's proxy/ip for access

Wanna ask if anyone can provide additional information on how to set up a proxy. i am trying to view some of the videos from Singapore. Apparently they blocked any IP outside of their country (copy right issues etc)

Any ideas how to bypass their firewall? hmmmm

This is something quite new especially in Malaysia. And best of all, it's FREE. So, i'm sharing it with LOWYAT forumers. It works on most of the smart phone (Iphone/Blackberry/Android based) Its a free GPS navigation (something like malsingmap?) but needs input from the community to perfect it. You can contribute your POI, buildings, food outlets, speedtrap, etc.

As you drive/walk/ride, the navigation records down your movement/ your speed etc/ your current location. So, you will know the latest traffic/roadblack etc.

alternative route to kuantan

i was wondering if other lowyat.net members could provide an alternative route for me to go back kuantan (heading to lebuhraya pantai timur)
as this weekend would be jam packed with thaipusam celebration near batu caves. i wasnt sure if i can use that mrr2 all the way. any other alternative? very much appreaciated

2)Jalan Ipoh (Kedai kopi.....forgot the name) +Morning till midnite..quality so so only..last time very good.
