Very Bad Experience at Lam Loong Gurney Plaza!

hi all,

just wanted to share with everyone about my very bad experience buying a camera from Lam Loong in Gurney Plaza from the sales person there by the name of Yeoh.

We were looking for a Lumix LX3 last Saturday and after asking around the few shops in gurney plaza, finally decided to buy from Lam Loong because the price was cheapest. Came with a 4Gb memory card.

We asked for a screen protector and were given 2 options - the standard size 3 inch one (which the sales person said will cover the screen but not the edges) or he could cut for us from a bigger piece but he said may be senget/crooked. We chose the 3 inch one which will cover the screen since he kept saying that if he cut it might be crooked. Later we noticed that the screen protector doesnt even cover the full 3inches of the screen!! And after measuring the screen protector we found it was not even 3 inches! Plus we had to PAY RM15 for the screen protector. Took it back to him to ask him to change for us since he was being dishonest. He pushed the blame on us saying that we were the ones who opted for the 3 inch.

Secondly, when we bought the camera, he told us that he had run out of Lumix casings. Said he would loan us another casing temporarily and when the casings arrived he would give us the Lumix casing. 2 days later he called and we went to the shop. he told us no more lumix casings. and so he asked us to chose from a few other bigger casings (they were CAMCORDER Casings!!) we asked him why there was no more stock, asked him how can they not bring in new stock of casings, asked him to check other branches... he kept saying no more no more, all the other shops in gurney plaza also no more. and insist that we take another casing and end up we just didn't want to argue with that DISHONEST MAN by the name of YEOH anymore and took a HUGE Sony camcorder casing. My lumix lx3 is now swimming in that casing.

I am so sick of being ripped off like that. Planning to call Lam Loong head office tmrw and demand that something be done about this.

Just as a warning to others who are planning to buy from Lam Loong... BEWARE!!

Please Help! Problem with nokia 7310 keypad

good evening to everyone,

my barely one year old nokia 7310 supernova started having problems with the 7 & 8 keys last week.
i took it to the shop i bought the phone from (and got a very rude 'our technician not in' reply) so i asked another shop and they suggested i change the casing. since the phone comes with 2 casings (one pink and one blue), i changed to the blue casing. (have all along used the pink casing)
the problem is still there. i can't press the 7 & 8 keys. have to keep trying and sometimes can press.

im not sure what to do and how to get it fixed since my warranty period is over. hope to get some help here. thanks!
