Need help with accounting and invoicing software

Hi all, I had never used Apple products before, always had been using Windows... up till now.
My boss suddenly wants to upgrade all the windows based desktops to iMacs and now need to find an accounting and invoicing software for MAC.
The software needs to be able to do accounting and invoicing (stock checking/inventory would be a plus) and needs to be able to sync together with other machines over the cloud.

Is there any software in MAC that could do all these? Thanks in advance!

How to create media keys?

Hi all,

How do I create media shortcut keys like pause/play, previous/next track etc? My new laptop don't have any embedded media keys and I find it a hassle to click manually everytime I want to listen to music (and I listen to music a lot).

Laptop keep on DC from net but router still on net

The situation is like this:

My home networking has 3 PCs which connected wirelessly to a D-link Router/Modem.
One of the PC has this problem: connected to the router(wireless ok), but not connected to internet, while others are connected to the internet.
Just need to DC the wireless link and re-connect to go back online.
But this happens frequently. And I tried changing the IP on the laptop, reset router to factory settings just in case the IP was blocked etc, but still the same.
I even installed a network monitor tool to keep track of the traffic on the laptop but no spike upload/download.

So what is the problem here?

Hi all the sifus and pros, need help!

I am wondering if there are any custom firmware for Dlink 2640T modem/router which has a QoS system that actually works.
I wanted to use it to partition between BT bandwidth (xunlei 5) and others, particularly online gamine.
The existing QoS system on the original Dlink firmware doesn't give me the option to do QoS for p2p/BT/xunlei.

EDIT: By the way, there's 3 of us sharing the line and all using Wifi to connect to the router.

Easy question... how to configure the settings in D-Link wireless modem to block PPS usage?

It has QoS, IP filtering and all the kinks, but I dunno how to configure it!

I already said no PPS usage if we are sharing the connection... But it's damn irritating to wake up during the morning just to found out online game disconnected and downloads all had to be restarted coz my housemate "curi curi" use PPS when I was sleeping.

Hi, I don't know where to post this. But I think since this is somehow hardware related, so here goes.

I need to buy some RF/IF products to enable my Spartan 3E (Xilinx) development kit to be able to communicate with other similar boards via wireless link.

So far the most promising products I found are Atmel and Analog Devices RF development modules.

I looked around and liked Mazda BT-50. Just want to ask those who driven it before. Is it comfortable? Is the steering good (I am now driving a Hyundai Santa-fe and the steering sux)? Any complaints about it?

And most importantly, should I get it?

I suddenly recieved an SMS from digi, stating my credit is less than RM2 around 11.20am. Curious, I went to check my ballance and was suprised that my credit only left RM0.01.

Can anyone tell me what happened? Is there a possibility someone steal my credit via hacking/program/etc? Should I change my phone number/service provider?

Sound Blaster Live 24-bit External no 5.1 surround

My problem is, the Sound Blaster Live 24-bit External has 5.1 surround enabled and when tested with sound properties, all speakers+subwoofer has sound. Problem is, all applications only can detect 2.1 surround, including windows media player and games.

Hi, I need some suggestions for air cooling solution for my E8400 E0 stepping. It is currently 72 degrees on load when clocked to 380 x 9.
Trying to get to 445 x 9 but I think I would need better air cooling before that

My goal is to get a air cooling solution for my proc which does the job and is cheap, something cost efficient

Gainward 4850 GS not working!

Help! I just assembled my new rig and I cant seem to get my Gainward 4850 GS 512MB to work on this mobo! Biostar TP45HP.

At 1st when I just assembled it, the screen is pixelated, even when at boot screen and without an OS. After I installed Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit, it still worked fine with pixel distortions. Until I installed the driver for the GC... AHA! The screen won't go into windows and is seriously pixelated and flickering every few seconds at the user login page, then the blue screen of death will appear after flickering for a while.

Help!

Biostar TP 45 or TP I45?

Ok, I am confused.... RM420 for Biostar TP 45 or RM520 for Biostar TP I45...

Is the Rm100 difference worth it? I am putting a brand new E8400 on either one of this mobo and expecting to do some minor OCing... maybe only till 3.4ghz as the opposed 3ghz.

Both have crossfire and I just can't seem to find the worth of the extra RM100... other than the extra cooling fan.

So why a lot of ppl go for TP I45? And is it worth it?

Which one is better in sense of reliability and cost effective?

I am getting a proc mainly for gaming with Gainward HD4850 GS, documenting, internet surfing and movie watching, the normal stuff.
Shouldn't be doing much multitasking, I think. And shouldn't be overclocking much.
