Asasi Pintar under UKM

Is any of the users here actually been through Asasi Pintar in UKM?
I saw this in UPU and this foundation programme by UKM started since 2010.
Couldn't find much info's about it except that :

1) the registration fee is around RM1K.
2)Minimum 6A's
3)1 year duration (2 Sem)
4)After entering , you will need to go through 3 test
5)Combination of Sains Hayat and Sains Fizikal
6)Only For Science Stream students
7) Must get at least an A for BM ,BI, Bio/Phy , Chem , Add Maths , Maths (6 subjects)

Anyone could tell us more detail regarding Asasi Pintar? I heard UKM teaches everything in Malay! All courses are in Malay. Is it true?

I'm considering this. I want to take Chemical Engineering for Degree if I take this asasi.

Confused with Pre-University Programme

Hello everyone! I just finished my SPM 2012. and I am a MARA student (not that proud though) .

I applied for the Pra SPM MRSM Program Luar dan Dalam Negara but unfortunately they did not accept mine due to the fact of my family background. They even mention that I only got in to MRSM due to the 10% entitled and even if I apply for after SPM , useless because I cannot get it. What mistakes did we do till they don't give us chance to study and come back to serve country just because of one of our parents nationality.

So , leaving without choices and with less money ,
I still want to take Chemical Engineering.

Is there any suggestion on what I should do?
Take STPM? or A' Level?
Take Foundation or Diploma?

Is there anyway for me to go overseas with scholarship after SPM or after taking undergraduate programme?
I heard JPA abolished the scholarship for SPM leavers already. I am interested with their Engineering Programme!

I can't go overseas without any scholarship. I would be a huge burden to my family. T_T

I though of enrolling to INTEC but I have yet to know their fees. I can't seem to get hold of them in these few days.

Hello! I'm 16 this year and I am required to do a Career Folio.
I'm curious in what job can i be successful.I have a big interest in languages especially foreign and I love communicating.
I would want to be an ambassador for Malaysia but I heard that to be that I need to apply to be a PTD which is not my interest,i guess.
I want to have a career that is not tied to a place (just sitting in an office) coz I'm quite active. Please help me by recommending suitable jobs. ^^ Thanks in advance!

Difference between IGCSE and SPM

I'm a Form 4 student now and I received an offer to MRSM TAR Pekan and I found out that it is newly build (start operating on Mei 2010).It is also the only government school that offers IGCSE.Most schools that provide IGCSE is private school like ADNI.

but some q's do bother me like :-

Is there any difference between IGCSE and SPM?

If we take IGCSE can we not take SPM?

What is the use of IGCSE?

I tried googling it but i can't seem to undestand it..

[WTA] Laptop Cover Support Broken

Recently,I broke my laptop's support for the cover. ...so now both sides are broken...the laptop cover can't support itself but has to be leaned on the wall or something behind it..

I was wondering is there any place / repair pc shops that can fix it? Please do help me.. T_T The laptop has been with me for the past 3 years and although its not as new / hi-tech type...but it's very useful to me for quite a time~
