As per title, my Public Bank ATM card (also a debit card) is unable to withdraw money recently. Then I noticed that the card has passed its expiry date for one year, so many this is the reason?

I called the public bank hot line, the operator told me I can only renew the card at nearest branch. I was like WTF? Sure or not?? Why can't send me a new card like credit card? System so pariah??

Anyone here can advise?

Wanna ask... is there any Android browser app that has the equivalent function of iOS Safari browser reader mode continous view?

Its so easy to view some article or books on website using Safari because it can auto load the next page without needing the user to exit the mode and click next page. Android apps can't do this? I tried search but none Android browser could do this...

Malaysia’s trade performance breaks record in April

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s recorded strong trade performance in April as exports and imports once again broke the record to reach RM105.6bil and RM85.1bil, the Statistics Department said.

It announced on Friday trade surplus was at RM20.5bil as it continues its recovery from the impact of Covid-19 pandemic.

“Malaysia’s exports continued to be vibrant, soaring by 63% year-on-year to RM105.6bil in April 2021 compared to an increase of 31.1% in March 2021, ” said Chief Statistician, Datuk Seri Dr Mohd Uzir Mahidin.

“The expansion was driven by both domestic exports and re-exports. Domestic exports stood at RM85bil – which contributed 80.5% to the total exports -- rose significantly by 84%. Re-exports which were valued at RM20.6bil, grew by 11%.

“Imports in April 2021 amounted to RM85.1bil, an increase of 24.4% year-on-year.

JOHOR BARU: Johor police have issued compound notices amounting to RM1.1mil during a single raid at an entertainment outlet in Muar.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay (pic) said that police raided the centre at around 10.45pm on Saturday (March 13) night.

"During the raid, police inspected 109 visitors comprising 81 men and 28 women aged from 17 to 52.

"Due to their failure of practising social distancing, all of them are issued with a RM10,000 compounds each amounting to RM1.1mil," he said, adding that they all tested negative for drugs.

Comm Ayob also issued a RM50,000 compound to a 52-year-old man, the premises' manager.

"This is the third time that the premises has been raided for similar offences during the movement control order (MCO) period.

"The first was on Feb 26 and the second time was on March 10.

"A letter was issued to the Muar Municipal Council (MPM) to cancel its operating licence," he said during a press conference at the state police headquarters here on Sunday (March 14).

Comm Ayob added that the premises was operating without a licence.

He said that this was the largest amount of compounds issued by the state police since the fine was increased from RM1,000 to RM10,000 beginning March 11.

"They can appeal the amount to the district health officer but the authorities will not go easy on those flouting SOP at entertainment outlets," he added.

KUALA LUMPUR: The individual who was issued with a RM10,000 compound for violating the Covid-19 standard operating procedure (SOP), did not register his details at the restaurant he went to.

A report has gone viral showing the compound for an individual who failed to scan the MySejahtera application at a restaurant in Bukit Jalil on Thursday (March 11).

Subsequently, many on social media had claimed that the man had actually registered his details using other means.

Cheras OCPD Asst Comm Mohamed Mokhsein Mohamed Zon said the compliance operation task force performed an inspection at a restaurant in Bukit Jalil at 6.55pm on Thursday.

“The task force has issued a compound on an individual for not scanning the MySejahtera app or registered his details manually on the registration book prepared.

“A compound of RM10,000 was issued on those who violated the SOP in accordance to the Emergency Ordinance, ” he said when contacted on Friday (March 12).

ACP Mohamed Mokhsein dismissed allegations that the individual had actually used other means to register his details.

“Allegation that the individual had supposedly registered using other means is not true, ” he added.

It was reported that starting Thursday (March 11), the quantum has been increased from RM1,000 to a maximum of RM10,000 under the Emergency Ordinance.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Abdul Hamid Bador had said that the police are only authorised to issue compounds to those who flout Covid-19 SOP, but the actual amount will be decided by the Health Ministry’s district health officer (PKD).

He had said that while the compounds are set at a maximum of RM10,000, the final amount is at the discretion of the PKD.

so i haven't been back my hometown in Perak since MCO started in March... almost managed to go back in early October but thanks to our fucking backdoor gomen doing some election stun, causing another round of CMCO and travel restriction.

my father stayed alone and i really wanna go back and see him any advise on how i can do this? can i go to the nearest polis station and apply a permit with this reason?

house strata title change name

just wanna ask a quick question as i'm not too familiar with this strata title change from developer to owner name

recently i have received the letter from my developer that the strata title is ready to change name to mine. then there's this lawyer firm in the letter where i need to go to process, should be their own lawyer. then there's also a time period like 1 year to process.

now the question is this:
1) can i use different lawyer firm to quote? i know the stamp duty cannot reduce coz it's government fee, but maybe can try better quote for the firm processing fee from others?

2) let's say if i delayed the transfer for like more than one year. what is the consequences? government gonna fine me? will i get into any trouble later? i'm not looking into selling the house in the next 3-5 years as i staying in this house now.

Condom deliveryman sued over pregnancy

A WOMAN from Suzhou province in China has blamed a condom deliveryman who arrived eight minutes later than promised and is suing him for 30,000 yuan (RM18,000), reported China Press.

The woman, known as Su, had ordered condoms from an online delivery service last month which promised to deliver them under 20 minutes.

However, after taking a shower, she received a message saying that due to the adverse weather, the delivery could be slightly late.Unable to endure a minute longer, Su and her boyfriend had sex. The condoms arrived in 28 minutes but the two had already finished.

Earlier this month, Su discovered she was pregnant and is now suing the delivery man.
