Anyone been ripped $$$ by spam sms?

Hope everyone is having a good start to the year

Nway, I want to ask if any of you have had experience dealing with unsubscribed sms spammers/scammers?

I have 2 phones (doesnt anyone nowadays) One is on post and the other which I dont use regularly is on prepaid.

The prepaid one is on Maxis. I dont use this line that much coz the number is for me to interact wt numbers I dont recognized etc..kinda like an adhoc phone. What Im puzzled is, every now and then after I top-up my credit wt hotlink, I notice after a day or two my credit would suddenly drop even without me using the bleaking phone. Then I realized that i was ignoring some spam sms sent to me. I then proceeded to check each and every one of them. I then noticed this one sms which was been sent to me every week informing me that my subscription wt their service will be renewed in 2 days. This service is from MTWEETER. I have never in my life subscribe to any sms services with any co. nor with any phone. How the hell did they get my info from? I suspect its Maxis itself doing this. I mean the rogue staffs in Maxis Hotlink must’ve sold my data to them or worst still, Maxis technical staff are up to no good.

Can I bring this company to court for invading my privacy? Say example I can trace where the sms came from

Hi everyone,

Recently I was employed by a company which only gave me an offer letter without the terms and condition. Only stated in the letter that a formal one shall be given to me after 2 weeks of service.

After a few days working, I overheard my colleagues mention that we have to work half-day every saturday.

When I was hired by the owner of the co., he didn't mention anything about this.

I feel like I've been cheated. When I called my boss and asked him about it he said he would have to discuss with me over the matter tmrw morning. I told him that I have other commitments during the weekend.

What can I do? Can I demand a raise? I surely cannot ask to be excluded as I believe it would make my peers jealous. Im a manager btw..

Any advise on this matter will be much appreciated...

Recently My front right tire hit a side pillar when reversing. Right after that my tire puncture. Now after change tyre and whenever I drive and steer the steering (yea my steering oso bengok a bit) to my left..

the steering like lost grip and corner without any effort from my steer. What do you guys think? You thinks my driveshaft broken or something else?

Anyway? Who charges more? Proton service centre or workshop? If workshop..where is the best place I should send it to without the cliche story of getting rip by mechanics happens to me?

11 Year-Old Jordan Anthony Brown who is charged with killing his father's 8 month pregnant girlfriend Kenzie Marie Houk

Jordan Brown allegedly shot Kenzie Marie Houk, 26, as she lay in bed on Friday morning. He then boarded the bus and went to school, where authorities later arrested him.
Miss Houk's body was discovered by police at her isolated Wampum, Pennsylvania farmhouse after her four-year-old daughter told tree cutters on the property that she believed her mother was dead.

Jordan was charged as an adult on Saturday with criminal homicide and criminal homicide of an unborn child, and was being held in the Lawrence County Jail with a preliminary hearing scheduled for Thursday.
But a prison warden said that his 300-inmate jail could not offer proper long-term care for Jordan and asked that he be moved to a juvenile detention centre.

The child is alleged to have used his own 20-gauge shotgun to kill Miss Houk, who was eight months pregnant.
When he was initially questioned by police, he told officers that there had been a black truck on the property that morning – sending investigators to follow a false lead for about five hours.
Inconsistencies in the boy's description of the truck led police to re-interview Miss Houk's 7-year-old daughter, who implicated the boy in the killing, said John Bongivengo, the Lawrence County district attorney.
The shotgun used in the killing is specially designed for children. It has a shorter arm and such weapons do not have to be registered, Mr Bongivengo said.

Drunk 4-year-old boy steals neighbour's Christmas

A four-year-old boy got drunk and stole presents from under a neighbour's Christmas tree, his mother said.

Hayden Wright was found wandering his neighborhood in Chatanooga, Tennessee in the middle of the night with a beer in his hand. He was wearing a little girl's dress taken from under his neighbor's tree.

His mother April Wright, 21, woke at 1.45am. and realised he was missing.

She found him outside in the street, drinking a 12-ounce can of beer, she said.

Hayden was taken to hospital and treated for alcohol consumption.

His mother said: "My biggest concern was him being out there, getting kidnapped, getting run over, the alcohol, having to have his stomach pumped."

She said Hayden runs away, trying to find his father, who is in prison. Miss Wright is currently divorcing him.

"He wants to get in trouble so he can go to jail because that's where his Daddy is," she said.

The boy had managed to get through a child-proof door and get a can of beer out of a cooler behind the house, she said.

He then got into the neighbor's house through an unlocked door and stole five Christmas presents.
