Unable to start-up

Few weeks back, I was unable to start my PC once every few days. I hit start button, then by the time I notice, my monitor was showing a blinking "_", I suspect that is before the DOS/Windows screen. But after shutting down and restart, all seems to be normal.

Since 2days ago, it got worse, instead of like previous, stuck in the blinking _, I was greeted by 1 long beep followed by 3 short beep . My screen was in power save mode, usually this happens when after I shut down or PC has been idling for some time. Restarting this time failed. But after a few hours, tried again, it booted normally . The same thing happened this morning , but now I am out, so can't know whether can still boot up or not.

FYI, my rig is as per my sig.

Would appreciate if someone can give me some suggestion on what might be the potential problem and possible solution . Any ways to pinpoint it?

XBOX360 PC Wireless Gaming Receiver

Recently bought the XBOX360 PC Wireless Gaming Receiver.

Just a little info:
OS: W7 64bit

When I first bought it, CD installation had some problems, then Google for answers and found a solution:

After a few days, few restarts, changing USB ports etc, it won't even light up, and PC won't even detect it, tested the same on my laptop. But after failing with the laptop, I gave my PC one last try, to my surprise, this time it lights up. And when I was finally getting happy and following the above instructions and all, I found another dead end .

I can't find Windows Common Controller for Window Class, I've read in the following replies they say its a typo, and suppose to be Microsoft Common Controller for Window Class, but to no avail. I can't find Windows on the left pane, but what I found was Winbond, tried looking into each left pane hoping to find a common controller on the right pane, but to no avail. Anyone can provide me with additional steps? I'm kinda useless in this thing, so hope that you guys can assist me here.

Thanks to the seller for link provided. But now it seems like I am stuck at yet another point. Link 1 & Link 2.

Tried following this Step by step Guide, but step #5 does not happen now. Tried this guide as well, but when I typed in joy.cpl, mine shows nothing wonder can I have any more help.

[WTA] HDD

I googled and read a lot, and found this useful, Tom's Hardware - Benchmark h2benchw 3.12: Max Write Throughput

But in the end I got even confused, at first was going for Seag d, then I stumbled on Seag

What do you guys think? I'm not going to use heavy graphic/video editing app, simple stuff like CS2/4, Windows Movie Maker etc.

So please give me some opinion, want to upgrade my HDD maybe after CNY and possibly add another 2GB Ram then install W7 x64.
Was considering dual boot, XP32 using the old HDD and W7 x64 using the new HDD, will read on that later.

Bought a DWA-125 (D-LINK WIRELESS 150 USB ADAPTER)

I'm using a PC if that is relevant.

The problem is when I set the TCP/IP stuff to auto obtain IP, after connecting, it stated that limited or no connection, and there is no data coming in, I can't online. After reading the manual, I set the TCP/IP, manual said to configure it this way

Run > cmd > ipconfig > IP Address 192.168.1.1

Network Connection > Properties > TCP/IP > General > Use the following IP >
IP Add : 192.168.1.x ----> x = 2 - 99
Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1
Preferred DNS : 192.168.1.1

After setting it, the 'limited or no connectivity' sign is gone, now it appears like when you are connected.

The problem now is, I am sending out packets, but receiving none. It is sending, but the received side is just 0.

I've tried re-install, re-boot, used different USB port, but still the same.
There are 6 people at home, all using laptop, and they can connect without a problem, we are currently using the free wireless router given by TM.

Yup, it was bugging me, why would they be hit by Parvo?

Correct me if I'm wrong, Parvo will react around 3-7days. So how come mostly die after transaction, so I have a theory, when breeder knows something wrong, immidiately they sell the dog, within 2days COD, so if really something happen, 3rd day KO, it will be at new owner place. So What I think is,we can delay it, confirm the buy, but wait 7-8days or more before collecting.

Will it work?
And don't flame me about getting from reputable breeder or petshop.
I got all my pets from petshop and recommended breeder, so just want to know does this way help save ourselves?
Since there is nothing you can do to the little pup, the least you could do is prevent that S.O.Bitc* to be able to make a profit from it. It will just encourage him to do it again!

05) Delivery method. (Did pet get stressed? Had sufficient break/water?)

MAYDAY MAYDAY!!!

In need of helps from MeoW pro!!!

I have a hamster, and cat 'likes' them right. Today, a stray cat came into the living room and gave birth to a few kittens. What should I do, and my housemate will be back tomorrow afternoon I think. The worse part is they (he) will beat cats up, literally!!
To make thing worse, the cat gave birth near his rack! So he will definitely be pissed! Thus cruelty will come, I can't say much, he will just blame me and I hate to argue, they will say we left the sliding door open, cause I have a hamster etc etc. Well, if the were no rules, I can beat him up anytime since I am much more physical than him, but I want to avoid argument, we staying togather ma.

So the thing is, how can I settle this matter before he returns tomorrow, if I don't settle it tomorrow, I fear for the lives of the cats!

What I know is after giving birth, you are not allowed to go near them, or mama cat will eat all the babies, I'm not in now, will be back home at 6, now my girlfriend is all alone at home, can someone advice me what to do please, we won't raise cat just so you know.

(WTA) Temp setting

One of the util (PC PROBE2) on my rig kept gave warning, stating my MOBO's temp is hot (45c)... I din configure anythin, so i guess its at d default settings.
My Cpu temp on idle is 50+- while MOBO is bout 43+-
While gaming my CPU temp hit bout 57+- and MOBO bout 46/47+-

Should I configure the threshold to higher?? As I dont know what level is safe. I din use the Gamer OSD tho i install it.
Current threshold for CPU = 65 MOBO = 45
Should I configure it??? But if I leave it, the warning is annoying, destroying my gaming experience..
