Hello! im here to ask whether which broadband would be suitable for gaming although i preferred wireless/mobile with FPS and MMORPG games.

Erm i have checked most of the broadbands that i wanted to and i think i got more or less that my area is covered.

I would wanna subscribe broadbands that cost below RM100 a month because i only use it at night.

Was considering P1 but im not sure whether the quota is enough for me.

Suggestions anyone?

Im facing this problems for quite sometime like about 3~4 months until now.
The thing is, i used to have 2 streamyx accounts and each of the accounts are used for 2 different houses ( 1 for Cheras and 1 for Bangsar).

Thus, the reason i had 2 accounts is that my bro whos always at the other house uses the internet 24/7 just like i do.
Ever since he went overseas for studies, i have closed down my other streamyx account(Cheras) due to the fact that it is too pricy to maintain 2 accounts since im only at home(Cheras) in the night.

But 1 thing occurred is that the Error 815 keep occurring when i tried to connect internet and this happens in the ratio of 9:10 and i have contacted streamyx due to my problems and i checked everything was fine, the modem lights are on. The chances of me getting connected now is like 1%. Wonder if anyone could enlighten me about this cause other neighbors seem to have no problems about this and i dont think it got anything to do with my laptop cause i have also tried other laptops to try connecting to my internet.

Sorry for the long story. However i cant just ask the streamyx technician to come and have a look at it since i have already terminated my Cheras account and i always use my Bangsar account.

Reformatting Vista

hello! im currently using an ASUS laptop A8sc/Z99 model and im planning to reformat my laptop
However, i dont have the windows vista installation cd but i only received 3 cd which is the Drivers for the laptop, Nero and the other 1 is Recovery DVD.

I did all the necessaries but to no avail i couldnt do anything with it.

The Recovery DVD i inserted seems to be useless as it did not show anything nor autoplay, all thats contained in the cd was some files but could not be executed.

I have also tried System Restore but thats not what i want to do on my laptop

Im using Vista Home Premium 32-Bit original but i takda the installation cd to perform the reformatting. The product key is valid and has been activated.

Hopefully someone will enlighten and guide me please because this is my 1st time reformatting my laptop and its a 1 year old lappy.

Hello! i wanna know does anyone know other broadband available in Cheras Perdana? was thinking of getting other broadband other than streamyx. Speed that are able to play games(on9 games,dota those)

Any recommendations? because im afraid my area is quite secluded and isolated away from other gardens and i was hoping streamyx is not the only option. Opinions are much appreciated

I've been to lowyat and digital mall and i have seen is all either those 2 i mentioned
Then i read some threads at garage sales some1 selling My passport Studio but stating Elite's feartures?
Planning to buy Elite but it seems like im quite confuse over here regarding both of the models of external hdd.

Among these brands such as WD,Buffalo,Transcend,Seagate,Maxtor or even LaCie, which is more preferrable?

i was thinking of buying LaCie since its design is not bad though.
Any opinions regarding these brands? or perhaps new model of ext hdd coming out?

i wanna know whats the difference between asus N50 and N51 models such as N50VN24DPM and as well as this both N51VG24BLPM and N51VF66BLPM. Any users out there?

i've gotten a brochure of Asus with pages of different series, however, the specs are rather confusing despite the prices are different among others.

Unfortunately, i couldnt get more precise info about N50 series as it is not stated on the ASUS website itself but i did watched a video in youtube about its review. I wonder the model in the video is the same as this.

As for this, im not pretty sure why is it more expensive than the N50 above because the only difference i see is that the screen is 0.2 bigger as well as the Blu-Ray function.

Although N50 did not mention anything about Blu-Ray but when i searched through youtube i found a user reviewing N50 with Blu-Ray function. Well im not particular with whether or not it is equipped with that feature but im surprised to see the huge gap of pricing between these 2 as N50 is much cheaper and better specs compared to N51 thought the Cache memory was not mentioned. Well, i do know there are alot of N50 and N51 series but RM1k difference is rather hideous. Can anyone provide me a better info?
