First time buyer for PJ/MK/KL area

Hi, I’m looking to get a first home within the vicinity of the places I frequent. I would say it’s within the circle of MK, KD, Bangsar south. Not really keen for the places beyond such as Subang, OKR or BSD.

Budget would be around rm700k (2-3 bedrooms for own stay). Not really where do I even start ! Any advice would be appreciated.

Mac City void my <1 month old apple watch

Hi guys I need some advice here .

I bought my Apple Watch 2nd gen less than a month ago and one day the whole watch just suddenly died. I tried charging it overnight, Tried force resetting, changing cables etc all didn't work.

So I sent in the one utama's mac city for service, they filed my case as "phone cannot on or maybe faulty charger". 2 days later they called me up and said that the technicians found a hairline crack on the screen, therefore my warranty is voided. I argued back that my watch was perfectly fine when I handed it over the counter at one Utama and it might be their own negligence that caused the hairline crack. Mac city was quite persistent about it and they kept quoting that there's nothing they can do as it's apple's policy.

Additional point : the guy over the counter was pretty shocked too when I told him that my watch was less than a month old. He said this is his first time seeing such case. Usually the watch would die after six months.

Hi all, I just got an offer from Hong Leong to be a graduate trainee, it's a 18 months rotation programme, we will be rotated every 6 months. RM3k with no allowance . Public bank offering 2.8k, and it's not even rotation, it's not even management trainee like what they claim to be!

Anyway back to Hong Leong, the catch is , In the email they sent me, this graduate trainee programme is to train us to be "accounts relationship manager " ? Does anyone have any idea what does this position do? What are the career prospect of an accounts relationship manager

How is working in hong leong like compared to other local banks? Most of the international banks are not hiring fresh grads at the moment

But for places in KL, it is only

XXXXX(poskod), kuala lumpur

so i am wondering, what do i fill up in the state column?

wilayah persekutuan?

I used to do online shopping, and never had a problem with all the custom tax (except orders above rm500 or so)

But today I just received a phone call from the custom saying my parcel got tax! I bought something from ASOS(clothes), costed me about 62 pounds (free shipping). I usually buy in that amount, but this is the first time I kena tax.

So i asked the lady on the phone why all these while before this got no tax? She said :"because this time they did a 100% inspection on all parcels. Dulu memang tak ada inspection, sekarang kita inspect semua. And don't care whether your parcel is below rm100 or whatever price, all also will kena tax 10%. "

60 pounds is around rm300-400. The lady on the phone also mentioned that my parcel worth rm486? I asked why so much, she said 'oh, insurance pun ada include.'

this whole situation sounds a little dodgy to me. Can anyone please advise? this is my first time handling with all the custom thing.

also, today i've just received 2 parcels from china, no tax also.

NEGERI (state):_________

and I always get confused on how to fill in. What if the address I am sending to is in a TOWN and not a city? what do i fill in the bandar blank?

example,

no. xx, jalan xxx,

Negeri Sembilan.

Sg Gadut is a town, what's the city for it?
