Need help understanding CCRIS, CTOS and Ptptn.

Hey guys I need help improving my ctos score. Its currently at about 550. Which is sort of weak I guess? I have been applying for a car loan since last week and 2 banks have rejected it and so I told my car salesman to hold my application until I can improve my ctos score. My salesman only told me that it was an issue with my ptptn record.

1. I have 2 PTPTN account for degree and diploma. For diploma my ccris is a clean 0 since last year with advance payment enough to last me another year. But my degree account had an 11 month outstanding in January which I promptly paid off once they sent me a letter of warning. It was a mistake by me because I thought I had advance payment in both account. I have been paying manually ever since. Is this really the cause for my loan being rejected?

2. If I were to pay off my whole degree ptptn debt. Settle it. Will the column for ptptn degree in my ccris disappear? How would it improve my ctos score? And leave me with just the record for diploma ptptn repayment in ccris?

3. Is there an alternative to this? Other than paying my ptptn bills on time for the next 6 month before reapplying for loans.

Thanks in advance and sorry if this is the wrong sub forum. I just see lots of financially experienced people here.

Overclocking Question

Hye guys, i'd like to ask a few question.. i'll make it short n simple... i'm still quiet new to OC and been testing a few stuff i read about... but some aren't easily answered easily by googling anymore... hehe...

1. Anyone tried using phenomsrtweaker ?? Any issue with it?.. i tried setting mine quiet low at powersaver stage p0 and it was stable through intelburnin test but sometime my pc just restart itself... and no error so far.. no blue screen, no bios say oc fail ( usually if oc fail my bios would tell me so, Asus 785g v evo).. just restart.. the restart is fast but i'd rather not lose any file i'm working on due to sudden restart...

2. Is it cause i undervolt the nb volt? i set it quite low as i didnt see any effect on stability yesterday... running NB at 2.4ghz btw.. i set multiplier to 12x then to 11x in bios but it still stuck at 2.4ghz with 220 ref clock.. dunno why... and i can seriously feel some boost to speed...

EDIt: I use Thermaltake toughpower 750w and sometime i think it let out a buzzing sound.. the sound is slow but high pitch like electrical noise or something.. like eeeeeee.. lol.. hard to describe the sound.. it is quite clear to my ear.. and just sometime... windows still works fine when it sound btw.. no effect at all... is that some kind of warning tone or something?...

3. In cpuid hwmonitor, what is the TMPIN0 and TMPIN1 temp reading refer to?...

4. Does replacing my gpu stock cooler void the warranty?.. i've been thinking to replace my 5850 cooler.. anyone knows a good one for that...

I included this pic as reference... Thanks in forward...

WTA| Sapphire 5850 Temp Idle = 45-50C | Max 88C

Hye, I just bought a new setup few month back.. and i've been trying to get the most out of my system.. while tweaking my gpu speed, i noticed that the temp is quite high compared to what i see on reviews.. most website says Radeon 5850 only under 40 C at idle.. and max around 70++ at load... mine can reach 88 C at standard clock (725/1000) .... i understand that we have hotter climate than others.. my room is no air conditioned also...

EDIT : I forgot to mention that i'm using Coolermaster CM690, For pulling air = 1x 120mm fan at front, 1 x120mm fan at side. For pushing air out = 1 fan on top, 1 fan at back. My wiring is also not messy.

Is it ok for my GC to run so hot?.. I can turn up the fan speed using afterburner but i would then clearly hear the fan... I just wonder if it's ok for the GC to almost reach 90C?... I ask here since most of us live in same climate... hehe.. i expect to use my GC for another few years, so hope someone can give some advice about this.. thanks...

Furmark Stability Test @ Reference clock

Same temp for max OC allowed in Catalyst 9.12...

Post Rig Building Questions

Hye, i just finished my new system this evening... started from subuh and ends at zohor!!!.. yes, it is myFirstTime.com building my own rig... lols...

Well, at first i thought after it is finished i will have all my questions answered.. turns out alot more questions came out.... hoping more experinced pc builder can give me some pointers here... so here goes... my system is based on ASUS AM3 785g V-EVO mobo wif a 720BE in CM690....

1. I replaces the stock cpu cooler to CM Hyper 212+ tower cooler... i had a very hard time installing it... had to use ALOT of FORCE to screw in the cooler to the mobos... i almost thought that i was going to break my cpu n mobos... it almost looked impossible and i had to force the screw in... i also added too much thermal paste at first.. and then scrub some later after i see that when tighten the paste leaks out... now only thin layer is there... is these issues normal?... my pc turned on fine, i'm just afraid i did wrong at some step and would break my system 1 day... is it really normal too use so much force screwing n tightening the cooler to the cpu???

2. If i use 2 ram for dual channel mode... the correct slot is the black slot... right?... or is it 1 for each color?

3. I had trouble correcting the alignment of the mobo to the mobo tray... mostly due to the i/o shield... it got metal parts like small fingers that makes it hard to fit in the correct way.. i forced my way through and succeed screwing in the mobo to the standoffs... but the i/o shield and the ports is not aligned perfectly... it is more noticeable that my gpu (5850) pci bracket had to screw in by force to fix it... i was being impatient... should i redo it and just throw away the i/o shield??... is there any risk for my system?...

4. My wiring is messy due to short wires... does wire extension exist?

5. My optical drive screams (annoyingly) during operation... is that normal?... using Lite-On 24x dvdrw sata... it reads fine tho... but my install of windows xp 64 bit was more than an hour with 1tb wd green... format also... normal? can i change it at shop for cmplain loud? anyone knows where and what price can i get BD-read only drives....

6. CM690 comes with a small slim fan preinstalled at the back of the mobo plate... i can feel the wind blowing outside instead of inside... should i change the direction?... i saw review from other webs it suppose to blow to behind cpu socket preinstalled... right now use 2 intake = 120mm front hdd and side panel.... 3 exhaust = 120mm back n top n 1 small behind mobo... any tips on better setting is welcomed...

7. Anyone know where to get 140mm fans in penang?... searched around but couldnt find any shop sell it... where is a good n complete modding shop in penang? Is Vizio sold in Malaysia original or just pirated fans??

8. Does anyone know a good dual boot web tutorial?... plan to install xp n vista... or mayb 7... just wondering how does data being share by the OSes...

9. This could be way off, but i was wondering the limitation of OEM version of win7.. is it registered to the mobo???. i know its only for 1 computer... but what happen when need reformat?... can i reformat it or need to get another copy?...

Thanks in forward XD... sorry so much questions... i spent too much money ( for me anyway) on this and that made me worry so much.. i hope it would last a few years or 4ever... hehe... if suddenly my cpu meletup with mobo i sure cry 1 week... haha...

[WTA] Please evaluate my 3k game rig !urgent!

Hello... I know this is pretty common and redundant for most people here... but i would like some tips and recommendation from the more experienced here...

I am planning to go to pc fair in penang tomorrow... and after planning last nigt, i found that i might go overbudget!!!... thats why i really need the responds quickly...

I've done many research on the net... but this is my first time building my own... hence the needs for advise...

Here's what i plan.. all prices are based from PDF Catalogue by PC ZONE, CZONE n CYCOM... thanks for the online catalogue, it serves me well as guidelines as i dont have much time to survey everything first hand...

Budget around rm4000 with monitor and accessories... I will assembly on my own... main use is for gaming and multimedia hoping to be futureproof until amd bulldozer came out... another 2-3 years maybe... most of the build is to be able to be in the 1080p resolution....

CPU: AMD PHENOM II 720 - rm425
Motherboard: Need suggestion -rm400 mayb...
Ram: Kingston Value Ram 1333mhz - rm340
GPU: Radeon 5850 - rm1000
Monitor: AOC 2434pw/DELL ST2310 - rm700
Case: CM690 - rm300
HDD: 500gb or more/ maybe 640gb caviar black - rm200
ODD: Samsung DVDRW - rm70
PSU: Gigabyte Odin PRO M 850w - rm500 [OVERKILL??]
Mouse n Keyboard -rm100 [wonder if its possible to get an illuminated keyboard at this price]

Total = rm4035!!!

OPTIONAL:
1.HYPER 212+ cpu cooler - rm100 n Thermal paste - rm25
2.Fans- rm50
3.Windows 7 Home Premium - rm450
4.TV card

I was hoping to include the "optional" into the rm4000 budget... my initial plan got me to rm4.7k earlier which included amd phenom II 955 n better storage...

I am hoping that some1 can suggest me how to lower the cost or correct me if any of the parts are priced wrongly or not suited... right now i cant make up my mind on what mobo to use since too many amd chipset out there and times that with the amount of manufacturers.... I would prefer just 1 slot pcie2.0 x 16 or possibly an additional pcie2.0 x 4 lanes for physix if go with 5850... if not i would go with 5770 an mobo with 2 pcie2.0x16 slot... main reason i want a 5850 despite the high price is to compliment the 1080p monitor...

I dont really set up my mind on AOC monitor yet, i just havent found a better priced monitor that could challenges it's features... main reason is HDMI port, 1080p, 2ms... if anyone can show me a better monitor with those features i would be happy to reconsider... ....

The psu is too much, but i consider it the best valued and modular also.... since other 600w-800w psu that i found also near rm500...

I also not so sure about the phenom 720... i dont really mind what cpu as long as it is fast enough not to bottleneck the gc... i just want it to game..

Sorry for the very long post... i just want to make it as clear as diamonds ... i really want this to be cheaper somehow, since i need extra money to be safe for this month.. lols...
