Beginning of April I upgraded from 4mb to 8mb. Within 24 hrs I had the new speed.

Had call from TM asking when they could come and install hyptv. Few hours later had call telling me that 8mb not available in my area.

Big argument, me saying I got it. TM saying I haven't.

Went to the TM point where I ordered the upgrade, showed them pic of my speedtest and told them to sort it out.

Turns out they want everyone to go onto unifi, so shouldn't have upgraded me as I can get unifi in my area.

Now without telling me, they put me back to 4mb.

Have been outstation for a few weeks so later today I will go to main TM office and get it sorted out. (hopefully)

Very badly run company.

Hi all,
Does anyone have or know where I can get this Pensonic ceiling fan as in the pic. It's about 10 yrs old. One of mine has broken & I'd like to replace with the same so it matches the other one.

I'm downloading Windows 8 using Windows 8 upgrade assistant.I'm using Streamyx 4Mbps.
The problem is it's so slow. After almost a day I'm only at 50% download. My speed is ok with other downloads, even Microsoft updates download at full speed.
Does anyone else have this problem and what can I do about it?

Rapidshare problem

Hi,
Since yesterday afternoon I've been unable to access the Rapidshare website & Rapidshare files using IE9 on my 2 pc's but can using my Mac
However if I use Firefox on the pc's there is no problem.
I'm using Google DNS. Any ideas anyone?

Speed test query

I'm on a Streamyx 1mb package. When I run a speed test to a Washington DC server I'm getting a result of 0.05 MB/s download & 0.04 MB/s upload. If I'm supposed to get 70-80% speed as a best effort from TM, what readings should I be getting?

Legal or not?

I'd like some opinions as to whether you think it's legal or not to download the latest episodes of tv series such as Lost, Heroes, Desperate Housewives etc.
It's ok to record direct from the tv so I think it should be ok to download from the Internet
