#I’m working towards FI/RE and currently saving/invest 50-60% of my monthly salary. (On top of this around 20-25% spent for commitment like ASB loans and properties).

I like to hear sharing from all who working towards FI/RE so we can learn in term of planning, lifestyle, achievement, obstacles and etc.

FI/FF is the priority that we need to work on - planning, executions, monitoring and improvement

I know Maybank provides mortgage for London property only for Zone 1-3.

I would like to get ur opinion on the options below, which is the better choice for the investment.

1. Flat PKNS Seksyen 7, 750sf.
Price:- offered 3 units ( from 185k (tenant), 195k (tenant) and 200k)

2. Sentrovue, Puncak Alam, 842sf.
New construction, completed 2018
RM 262,488 ( before 7% discount)

Dear All,

I know we have many experts, property agents, and lawyers in the house. So I would like to seek some advise and information.

1. For my own stay, which one is better (in term of risk, future value, loan interest, process etc) between buying a land and build the house on it later and buying a house?

2. What is the normal/average bank interest rate for the land? Bank can finance same like house, i.e up to 90%?

3. What is trick/things that I have to aware if I want to buy a land and build a house later on?

4. Do we need to be there for the whole period of processes? Or some part that I can authorize someone to sign/be there on my behalf? Considering I'm working outside Malaysia.
