Hi,
I have very little experience/knowledge about camera but i have bought a nikon D5000 early this year to take pictures in my room which i have converted it into a "studio".

My problem is despite placing 3 studio lights in front of myself(i'm using a white backdrop) 1 each side of me,left & right and the 3rd light i place it right in front of me but the result is still not completely white -the backdrop. How do i achieve
completely white background which we normally see in those magazines where the product is clear. the result i usually achieve is uneven greyish or sometimes bluish tone at the background. sometimes my pic is over exposed when i try to set the camera very bright

I hope someone will be able to tell/advise me what went wrong with my camera or my lights setting. Thank u
