Just wanna share my experience of sending HDD for warranty.

Bought this 1TB Seagate External HDD during Aug2010,

(that time still under 5years warranty policy. )

recently having issue that not able to detect the HDD,

therefore decided to send for RMA.

went to Seagate website, HERE check warranty status and create RMA.

after finished packaging,

the next day send to UPS SCS (M) Service Sdn Bhd @ Bukit Jelutong around Tueday 1100AM,

Guess what?

at Friday 1300PM+,

I already received a recertified replacement unit direct ship from Spore !

and Seagate upgraded to USB3.0 model as well.

all these done within 75hours !

Really appreciated that Seagate after sales warranty service ~

Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver

Last year,

Notice many China/Taiwan/OEM Brands Double-DIN AV Receivers available in mudah.my,

and price quite attractive too,

and I almost gatal want to get one of those until I noticed below promotion leaflet,

tempting to try out the in-Dash Double-DIN DVD Multimedia AV Receiver since I was using stock audio around 5years+,

Hence, I guess is time to 'Upgrade'.

Sound Quality is not my main concern as I with stock audio so long time,

I believe any after market audio must be better than stock audio.

Another interesting feature that caught my eyes is the MirrorLink.
(An optional CD-ML100 smartphone link adaptor box is required to work MirrorLink on Android based phones.)

this promotion seems is a good start for noob like me to upgrade car audio.

I guess the Free component set speaker is an entry level/basic model.

AMP and Woofer can be add-on any-time when finance allow in future.

and great news also these AV Receivers are backup with 3 Years local warranty.

Unfortunately Alpine AV Receivers is much higher price than Pioneer, so have to forget about it.

I also notice not much peoples discuss about AV Receiver Unit,

is it because it cannot "tune-able"? Sound Quality Issue?

mileage clocked 48000KM+ after 21months (Feb2011 to Nov2012),
