Motorcycle ECU, Sensor lifetime

Hi, need to get a new kapcai. Instead I still preferred carburettor bike.

But market currently full of fuel injection bikes instead of my old problematic kapcai is using carburettor.

I need to know what is the lifetime of the motorcycle ECU, TPS and sensors?

And also how much is the maintenance costs for those items?

Does TURBO BOOST Realy matters?

Hi

Which processor will your choose when you choose your new laptop? Core i3 or i5?

Does the Turbo Boost really matter when you purchase your new laptop?

Since the Turbo Boost only work when the other core is not active, some more it need the power, current and thermal within it's limit to function. (From wikipedia)

So Core i5 only have 2 cores, it hard to imagine when one of the core will not to be active when you running Windows; and it have to match above criteria some more.

So, Is it worth to choose the Core i5?

Long Hour on tablet, Fingertip feel numb

Hi

Anyone having this experience. When using your capacitive touch tablet for long hour (approx 1 hr), your fingertip will fell numb.

It not just happen on me but my sis too. For me, the feeling will last for days.

Just wonder is the capacitive touch sensor good for health?

Why ultrabook is so expensive

Wonder why the ultrabook is so expensive as compare to entry level notebook?

Heard the processor is not as powerful as the i3 except its power consumption.

Battery life also normal when you full load the ultrabook.

Is it worth to buy the ultrabook or just get an entry level notebook with bigger battery pack?

Hi

At PC Fair yesterday, Lenovo just free 3yrs warranty plus 6GB Ram for Lenovo G470 and certain model just add RM100 for 3yrs.

Wonder the 2nd and 3rd yrs is direct from the manufacturer or third parties?

If third Parties, does it fully cover the parts and labour?

Kindly anyone could help me on this please?

Accessories Covered by Warranty?

Hi

That day my younger brother's friend just get a Toshiba notebook from lowyat.

There sale assistant told her that the adapter only came with 3 months warranty even though the notebook is extend to 3 yrs warranty.

It is truth?

What I know the standard warranty for battery is 1 Yr and Sony only came with 3 months and 6 months for Samsung Notebook.

But I do not know which accessories will cover under the warranty of 1 yr and the extended warranty of 3 yrs.

Anyone know about other brand of notebook such as HP, Asus?

Need to understand it before getting a notebook.

Do your think Core i5 is better than i3?

Just check the Intel Spec, it mention i5 have the Turbo Boost but When you need it to run, You need the following set of rules

1. Supportted OS
2. Nums of active cores
3. Estimate current and power consumption
4. Processor Temps

For the 2nd rule, is it free or under workload core will have the Turbo Boost available?

For the 3rd rule, Will it consume more battery power on Turbo Boost?

Just feel like Turbo Boost is overclock or share load your processor through the free core or under workload core from the processor.

Which option do you prefer first before getting a Notebook ? Performance or Battery Life.

Myself do not like to charge few hours for a battery and battery only last for 1.5 to 2.5 hours on the road.

Heard a forumer said that recent models has failures in the LID closing mechanism but it do not stated what model. Any Toshiba user can verify this?

Just got the catalog from PC fair and it stated that Free 2nd and 3rd Yrs Local Limited Warranty but catalog from TeleDynamic just give away 2nd yr Warranty only.

Do any one confirm for this?

Any idea what is the different between SU4100 and SU7300?

Check the speed, cache, number of cores are the same at intel web site except the VT, but price is different a lot.

The SU9400 is much more expensive.

Nowaday, Processors is hard to choose for me.
