Dear forumers,

Any kind soul here who is can recommend me good suppliers for my F&B business in Klang valley? I need suppliers for fresh veg, meat(chicken and pork), fish, kitchen groceries, cooking ingredients, fruits....etc

I have some suppliers on hand but not sure if they are the cheapest. Would like to get more contacts for a backup.

Wonder how you guys source for it when you first started. Perhaps you can share your experience. Right now, I am just searching online and going thru the contacts I know in F&B.

Mixed Rice Business

Hey guys.

Wanna ask if anyone here runs a mixed rice business or if you know anyone that's doing this business? I am planning a partnership with my friend to start a mixed rice business in an area i think has great potential. We are going to sell non-halal, like "zhap fan" style.
I would like to know more information on how to rent/buy kitchen tools for cooking and tools for placing the dishes and where to find cheap and good suppliers for raw materials.
I will be the one cooking it with help from foreign workers in food prep. Also need input on how many workers to hire.

Btw, i will be renting a shoplot(instead of a hawker stall). For a start we are just doing zhap fan, drinks or maybe fruits as well. If it goes well, we will prolly rent out hawker stalls to ppl.

Good job prospect vs High salary

Just wanna know how many would choose a high salary over a good job prospect. For example, you are given 2 offers, one with very very high basic but the job is boring and dont really improve much in your skillsets. The other with very good training ground and great career growth but with average salary only.
In terms of salary difference, I dont mean to say only few hundreds difference but more of like almost twice the pay of another.
Do share your opinions here...

I dont mind telling you the pay is about 4k versus 8k salary because the 8k requires u to relocated to another country, away from home but advancing in my own field right now. Im hesitating on the 8k job as i dont see where it can lead me to next after 2-3 years time, i might be stucked at 8k or alil more only. And the job most probably will make you dull and boring. Never know...
As for the 4k job, you most prolly will get 6-7k in 2-3 years time if you're good in it, because this skillset is highly marketable. I wouldn't reveal it here but of course i have done alot of research on both paths before throwing this question here. Including some examples from the people in the 2 fields....
