Brought in the laptop to Apple TRX to resolve a burn-in screen issue with the laptop in January 2025. Laptop is fixed with new screen. Apple was also kind to replace the battery. Repair cost would have been RM6k but it was covered under warranty.

If you are currently subscribing to Digi Postpaid 40 and Watchsim (Total monthly payment of RM60) - this service is currently unavailable. You got to get their Digi Postpaid 80 to get watchsim. This is extra cost of RM40 a month - which is total monthly payment of RM100.

Celaka betul. Just changed my phone and got to reinstall the watch esim. Found out I can't use the watchsim unless I pay extra RM40.

So much for less competition. With Digi and Celcom merger.... prepare for more price increases.

Will just go back to prepaid and not use Digi anymore.

First McDonald Malaysia suggest that we 'lou sang' with their fries and chicken nuggets.

Now, they suggest that we have reunion dinner at McD.

Maybe they don't know their chinese consumer..... Or they don't do research.....

No chinese will do 'lou sang' with chicken nugget instead of fish - sure bad luck for one year.

For reunion dinner - it is at home or if rich - go high class restaurant.

Eat in McD also not cheap. If no money - just go cheap restaurant.

No McD for reunion dinner.

Is this the downhill for Maxis's Hotlink?

We used to get great discounts and offers via Hotlink. You can sometimes save more than RM10 a month when the offers were great.

Then there were less and less offers....

Finally Maxis decided to change Hotlink to 5.6

There were no uploads to download the new app yesterday.

Today we got the app and the offers are not working.....

Buck up Maxis. You seem to be the suckest Telco now.... Get your app to work?!!!!

Apple Watch 6 battery life

I have Apple Watch 6. I have been getting more than 24 hours of actual usage before needed a charge.

It's now 11 months old and battery health is currently 93%. I am only getting 18 hours of normal usage. Meaning - it goes from 100% to 0% in 18 hours.

How many hours can you get from your watch?

I am thinking of making a battery warranty claim before the warranty claim runs out.
