PC keep on restarting

Hi guys,

I bought a PC in January 2011 and using it for video editing and internet only.

During the 1st week the PC keep on restarting. Brought back to the shop at Digital Mall PJ, replace the RAM and it's OK.

Fast forward to October 2011, my PC started to auto restart itself again occasionally.

November it started to restart very often. It would restart anytime, while I was editing the video, or after I on the PC and 10 seconds later, it restarted.

I thought it may be viruses, so I reformatted the PC. The funny thing, it restarted during the installation. But finally I managed to reformatted it after 3 times.

Then I knew something wrong with my hardware. Brought back to the shop, they tested it and found no problem at all with the hardware. And the PC did not restart for once!!

Took the PC back home, and the problem occurred again. Brought back to the shop, leave it for one day and they said mobo need to be replaced. They sent the mobo back to Taiwan for warranty claim and a month later, my PC has a new mobo.

But the problem is still happening!! Cannot use it in my house. Brought back to the shop and they advise me to try on someone else's house. Decided to brought the PC to my in law's house and tried to use it there. Voila!! I'm able to use it at my in law's house.

Why I cannot use my pc in my house? I'm not sure whether there is problem with power voltage in my house. Oh by the way. I'm using Voltage Regulator as well.

Is it a problem with PSU? I need your advice before I invest in a new PSU since the PC can be used in other place.

Have any of you experienced this problem?

Thank you in advance. Really appreciate your input.
