My girlfriend has just recently bought a Digital Piano (Yamaha Arius 140 IIRC), and she needs a pair of headphones to go along with it. The headphone will be driven through the onboard headphone jack and not through an external amp. I was thinking Audio-Technica headphones but anybody can recommend something else?

Looking to purchase a keyboard but need input

Hello people,

My girlfriend is looking to purchase a keyboard but before that I need input from you people here who has experience with the keyboards first.

She plays the piano so what she wants is something that resembles a piano in sound. It must not be very artificial/synthetic sounding. I don't think the amount of different sounds matters a lot to her although it might be a bonus. But the most important point will be the piano portion of the keyboard.

She's hoping that the keyboard comes with weighted keys but I told her I've never seen a keyboard around the RM2000 - RM3000 range that comes with weighted keys.

So anyone here have any recommendations?

Hey people, I was wondering whether are there any other colleges/universities in Malaysia offer the UOL external programme?

I've searched and found out that HELP does offer it but somehow I think they dropped it or something cause there's nothing in their website under their Undergraduates link.

The curve with equation y = 6e^x - e^3x has one stationary point.

I) Find the x-coordinate of this point
II) Determine whether this point is a maximum or minimum point.

Here's what I've done so far :-

= dy/dx = 6e^x - 3e^3x

stationary point , dy/dx = 0

6e^x - 3e^3x = 0
x ln 6e - 3x ln 3e = 0

and I got stuck after this. Anybody knows how to solve this?

Okay, firstly I'm interested in Electrical or Electronics Engineering. But I wasn't qualified to take up Foundation Courses in MMU. Due to the fact that my Add Maths got a 7D and my Physics got a D as well.

One thing to note is that my Add Maths and Physics got such a bad grade because I studied last minute, as in like 1 - 3 days before the paper and there's no teacher to guide me for the whole Form 4 and 5 years.

So, now it's either I opt for A levels then after that go for a Degree in MMU. I still can do that but then I have my doubts now because my uncle told me that his son as well went for engineering (never asked which sector) and his pay is like 2000+ only while his friend which is a Chemical Engineer went to apply for a Bank Job and he got it even though he doesn't know anything and his pay is like 5000+ or so.

So I'm wondering now whether I should continue towards EE/E&E or should I go for another course like Mass Comm, Banking, Accounting etc etc?

Anyone can explain what can I do with a Mass Comm Degree/ Banking Degree/ Accounting Degree?

My SPM Results are like this,

I originally wanted to attend foundation in MMU for Engineering but didn't make the grade so I'm opting for A levels then only Degree in MMU.

Hi guys , I think most of you don't know that I'm 17 and sitting for SPM this year. Just my luck that I'm taking both science and maths in BM as I am the last batch. Now some of you who is taking SPM with me and those of you who already took SPM please elaborate what is Kebarangkalian mudah in english please. I can't understand a thing reading the text book or workbooks as a matter of fact. What's kebarangkalian mudah in english called? How do you know which one is bersandar and which 1 is not? I might understand better if I knew the english term for it so I can google for sources. I really want to study maths in english. Sigh.
