NEC Versa S3300 vs. Toshiba Portege M600

Hi guys, wondering if some of you can help me here as I've had no experience with NEC notebooks before.
I've been looking at the Toshiba Portege M600-E360 model:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7100
2GB DDR2 RAM (pc fair offer)
120GB HDD
3yrs Intl warranty (also pc fair offer)

RM5,999

Then today I saw the NEC Versa S3300

Intel Core 2 Duo T7500
2GB DDR2 RAM
200GB HDD - but duno which manufacturer
3yrs Intl warranty (offer at 1utama)

RM4,199

Both are 13.3" with Vista Home Premium, battery I'm not exactly sure yet.

I always thought NEC was quite high standard, but the price difference seems too big for it to be compared to Toshiba.
Would the NEC be a good buy then? I've not had friends or relatives who have used NEC before so I don't know much about their quality.
