FUXX Digi for Refusing to port out my number

Had lodged a complaint to MCMC for above matter with MCMC Complaint Reference No. 0398/04/16

Sub:Digi refused to transfer my number 016280XXXX to Redtone under MNP

1. I have submitted a MNP request through Redtone agent on 5 April 2016 and I approved the transfer request in Digi SMS. Unfortunately Digi rejected my MNP request by giving this "Some or all numbers do not belong to principle subscriber or company on 6 Apri 2016. I called Digi to find out the reason of rejection and Digi admitted the problem is due to their system and asked me to resubmit again.

2. I resubmitted MNP request again on 7 April 2016 and approved it on the same day. Unfortunately Digi rejected my transfer request again with the same reason as first request. I called up Digi again and they admitted is their system problem. Digi asked me to submit again, but I declined to be treated like a joker.

This posting is to make my complaint to MCMC as an open letter to internet users. I may not reply or open discussion for this post.

Mr DIY store refused to refund with either cash or

To modetator, the forumer who lodged complaint to you is the one who used vulgar language "cbai" against me. Please investigate carefully. Thank.

Dr DIY is agreed to refund me which is saying badmouthing a retailer is untrue. The forumer who is abusing reporting system must be punished accordingly.

=========================

Sorry, not sure this forum is suitable for my complaint against Mr. DIY store?

The story is....

I bought a Table mate (UL11/2/3-2-6] from your store at the Giant Building at Batu 9 Cheras on 24 May 2015. I tried to return the product on 25 May 2015 due to bad design issue.

The manager agreed to my refund request with exchange of other goods, but he said he could not refund with cash which is against company policy.

As a consumer, I fully aware that strictly no cash refund within three days in the receipt is against the Malaysia consumer’s protection law. I even compromise to accept cash voucher which I can use it at Mr. DIY later.

The store Manager claimed he has to follow his company’s policy and refused to refund with either cash or cash voucher. In order not to cause unpleasant incident with the manager, I therefore bring this case to Mr. DIY headquarter for a solution.

I as a consumer want Mr. DIY to refund me with cash within seven days. If Mr. DIY fails to do so, I will bring this case to consumer tribunal for a decision. No reply from Mr. DIY wihtin 48 hours meaning Mr. DIY is not agree to refund me with cash and also agree to bring the case to consumer tribunal. I will file a case with consumer tribunal after 48 hours of this notice is served to you.

I will publish this case as an open case in my blog and Low Yat forum for public members to know that your company policy of strictly no refund with cash is against the Malaysia law.

Regards, nkk Cheras KL

Cc: An email with above content is also sent to Mr. DIY via webform at http://www.mrdiy2u.com/?page_id=102

Xiaomi appointed courier GDex is suck!

I did not post my first bad experience encounter with GD Express (a.k.a GDex) when I purchased some goods from Lazada. No more second chance for them, I decide to post my second bad encounter with GD Express when Xiaomi Malaysia changed their preferred courier from Fedex to GD Express.

GDex customer service is giving all sorts of empty promises for last three days. My parcel from Xiaomi is still in MIA status.

The standard reply from GDex customer service is we will call you back soon. The fact is they NEVER call back to update you!

Below is my email sent to Xiaomi Malaysia on 15th April.

A complaint against GD Express for order# 8206463193 delivery service

Hi Xiaomi Customer Service,

I am very upset with your new courier company, GD Express.

– The first delivery failed on 13rd April 2015 due to main gate to my home is locked and the courier man was lazy to call my hand phone number which I have given to Xiami during order placement.

– I have called up GD Express on 14th April 2015 to make a secondary delivery request and they have promised the secondary delivery is on afternoon 15th April 2015.

– Unfortunately, the second delivery is never happened on 15th April 2015 as promised. I called them up at 6.00 PM, 15th April 2015, but GD Express pick up hotline customer service has no clue that there was arrangement for second delivery.

The reason given is Gdex shipping department is another department, not under the customer service department.

Can you arrange other courier service like Fedex to deliver the parcel to me?

GD Express is a hopeless company which I have faced similar delivery problem when I ordered goods from Lazada. GD Express should be blacklisted by Xiaomi.

Permanent blog page: http://www.nkkhoo.com/2015/04/16/gd-expres...ourier-company/

TM reseller hacked my Unifi online application

The bloody Unifi reseller agent appointed himself/herself as my agent in my home package Unifi online application without my consent and knowledge.

A police report was lodged against the cyber criminal and forwarded to MCMC for further action.

The idiot must pick the wrong target, nkkhoo who is fearlessly fighting justice for himself and poor people.

http://www.nkkhoo.com/2014/12/16/my-unifi-...reseller-agent/

Beware of buying any goods from lelong.com

Lelong.com does not verify its individual seller is a legitimate business entity or not as required by the Company Act, they just accept anyone who is willing to pay RM298 listing fee to open an online store with them.

This SHDC memory card listed in Lelong.com is not a product listed in Kingston website. I have emailed Kingston to check the product is counterfeit or not. I am quite confidence to say 99% chance it’s a counterfeit because its technical specification is not class 10 and without Kingston hologram.

I found out this problem with the help of Canon technical support because my new Canon camera fails to take video recording.

Once I get the confirmation that the product is a fake one, I will take necessary legal action against Lelong.com and its seller.

http://www.lelong.com.my/64gb-sdhc-class-1...2-08-Sale-P.htm

I have stopped using Lelong.com because of high risk of being cheated.

My Asus 1015PX sucks

Five reasons you should not buy Asus products! Don't tell me I do not warn you.

1. The product quality is poor.

My Asus 1015PX netbook keyboard is having jumping cursor issue. The problem is random, and I have difficulty to repeat it when I send it for repair.

My suspect is my plams incidentally touching/rubbing the over sensitive touch pad. The bloody hell is there is no way I can disable the touchpad by [Fn][F3] or disable it via Elan driver.

All function keys are not working.

2. Asus does not honor 2-year warranty extension after online registration.

I had registered my netbook online within a week of purchase, Asus never replied the registration was successful or not and whether the warranty extension is granted or not unlike Canon.

3. Asus online and offline customer services are poor and suck.

Do not expect any reply within 48 hours, you should be happy if Asus does reply you after 48 hours.

I have talked to a few Asus customers, and realized that Asus customer service is worst than any Malaysia GLCs.

Case 1: A Malay guy has to visit Asus service center for five times before his phone casing was replaced.

Case 2: Another Malay guy also has to wait for two months for LCD replacement.

Case 3: A service staff member switched off his handphone, but still asking a lady customer called his handphone.

I asked them how to disable touchpad, unfortunately they do not know how. They even claimed that the touchpad driver in my netbook is missing, but when I asked back how on earth a touchpad can work without a driver.

Asus service technician was hiding in the back room and refused to answer me face to face.

His innovative solution is reformat and reinstall Windows in my netbook. I almost uttered “fxxx your *******” on the spot. Since I can manage my emotion well and also feel no point scolding these people working in the field who have no say in the management matter.

4. Asus Malaysia customer center is packed with angry customers.

I have to wait for 1 hour 15 minutes before my turn to hand in my netbook for troubleshooting. The front counter staff members are helpful, but its technical personnel are having attitude problem with poor technical knowhow and knowledge.

5. New service center address is not updated in its website.

Asus has moved its service center to Low Yat Plaze on 28 December 2011, but it never updated new center info in its website. I only noticed the center was shifted to Low Yat after I visited SPS Plaza.

My actions are:

- I decided to bring back my netbook and told them that I will write a complaint to Asus CEO directly.

- Post a free write-up in my blog about Asus poor quality and service.

- File the case in the consumer tribunal for faulty netbook.

- Of course I will not buy Asus product in future unless all other computer manufacturers are wound out for business.
Asus is suck! These are five reasons you should not buy Asus products, don’t tell me that I do not warn you in advance.

Beware of using service from Nokia Service Center

My N82 broke down two weeks ago for keypad auto dial and all software went weired including phone and video not working. There was also beeping sound when I turned on camera mode.

These problems persist after I reformatted to original setting. My suspect is no longer software glitch, so I decided to send my set to Nokia service center at Berjaya Plaza for hardware repair.

I highlighted four problems to them

1. Keypad non-stop auto dialing issue.

2. Beeping sound when camera mode is on.

3. Loose SIM card holder.

4. Broken battery casing.

They called me back yesterday to ask whether I agree or not for RM387.70 service charge. Nokia service center is billing me for above issues after so-called diagnosis service.

I immediately replied NO because my three years old N82 set resell value is no more than RM300.

I collected my set from the service center today after paying them RM25 diagnosis fee. Then I went to Low Yat to look for another phone service shop for repairing my phone.

Amazingly, I could not demonstrate problem #1 and #2 to a technician in Low Yat after I put back the battery because these two problems were gone for no reason. Then I noticed there are two hairlines in the center of screen. The technician told me that was LCD issue.

To avoid unnecessary dispute for opening Nokia seal, I took back my set and returned to Nokia center to ask for LCD replacement. After a little argument, they finally agreed to replace defective LCD free of charge.

I conclude that billings for item #1 and #2 for RM 287.9 are unethical and dishonest business practice because my phone set is functioning normal after the diagnosis service. Nokia service center should not try to bill me for non-exist parts replacement. Most likely cause is dirts accumulated below the keypad after three years of active usage.

Take back my set is the best option instead of asking Nokia service to continue servicing for cosmetics problem #3 and #4.

The story is I paid RM25 to get a new LCD and diagnosis service that is not a bad deal after all. My phone is working normal as before without any servicing or repairing done.

The lesson learned is do not simply buy in Nokia service center exorbitant billing, reject it if you feel something amiss. Therefore, no more Nokia phone in my future purchase plane after two bad experiences with Nokia service center in Malaysia.

I hope Nokia HQ read this story before they are losing more customers due to after-sales service dissatisfaction issue.

Malaysia Nokia Customer service center

I have visited their customer service center in Berjaya Plaza for N82 batter cover replacement at about three weeks ago. The desk staff checked the stock and said no stock in the center, and asked me to leave my name and contact number. They promised to call me back in one to two weeks.

As expected, no one from Nokia called me up to inform me the availability status of white color battery cover.

Lodged a complaint through Malaysia Nokia website, and provided them with all necessary info. They replied and asked for the same and unnecessary information like phone model, phone number, etc. which was provided to them earlier.

This is Nokia’s official reply for asking same information twice.

QUOTE

Dear Customer,

Thank you for emailing Nokia Careline.

In response to your inquiry, we would appreciate it if you could provide us with the following information for us to assist you further with regard to the availability of the battery cover for your Nokia N82:

Customer’s name :
Contact number/s : (providing land line # will be helpful)
Phone Model :
Date of Purchase : (optional)
Place of Purchase : (optional)
IMEI : (If phone is in ASC, this is required)
Job Code : (If phone is in ASC, this is required)
Warranty status : <under warranty / out of warranty / invalid>
Parts/Enhancement Needed : Specific description of the needed parts/enhancement if applicable (e.g. Front Casing – color white)
Preferred ASC : (service center)
Remarks :

Nokia treats its customer like idiot instead of resolving the issue. What is the fxxxing logic for asking same info twice? Meaning they are totally NO interested to help customer, but to kick around the problem like in the government departments.

Nokia brand phones will be in my NO BUY black list.

Boycott this 711 branch in Taman Alam Jaya, Cheras

I bought a package of fresh milk, a box of egg and 2 cans of Mamee instance mee from this 711 store yesterday.

Two ugly things were happened. First, only 9 pieces of egg were in the box. I did not bring back to the store for exchange because petrol costs more.

The thing truly made me sick is I has discovered the milk package already opened and the milk also spoiled today. The milk volume left is about 3/4, meaning someone opened and consumed the milk before put it back to the shelf.

Larger image can be viewed from my blog, nkkhoo.com

p/s: Already reported this case to 711 HQs.
How to read scale on Teletron battery charger

This is my first time using Teletron battery charger. This stupid Malaysia company (their factory is at Tangkak, Johor, my kampung district) does not provide any operation manual.

Make thing worst is shopkeepers from a shop in Jalan Pasar which I bought the unit are ladies. I do not mean to belittle any lady, I have to scrap plug installed by a female shopkeeper because she have damaged the screw thread and also with shoddy cable joints.

Since I do not have multimeter to check a new battery charged status. I phoned them to ask about how to read indicator on the battery charger. The answer given is suspicious because a lady said indicator is pointing to FULL when start charging, see the picture.

I removed my used car battery and rechecked it, the indicator is also pointing to FULL as this picture. My understanding is FULL sign at the scale meaning the battery is fully charged.

Any Teletron battery charger user, please clarify about how to read indicator..Thx

[attachmentid=623278]

Excellent computer repair shop in Low Yat Plaza

My three years old Package Bell notebook got dead boot-up problem. I tried to replace with a new motherboard battery myself, unfortunately the battery mounting came off with I pulled out the old battery. Close examination on its solder pads and legs indicated some rusty copper accumulated on the leg. One pad is almost bare with a tiny soldering leftover.

Brought my notebook to Law Yat 2nd floor and asking around for repairing service two days ago. Three repair shops, one of them is ran by Pakistanists, they all said it is impossible to remount the battery mounting under such a bad condition.

Finally I found a repair shop, located at opposite Vital computer shop with this name "Komputown Sales & Service". A friendly shop attendant led me to a Burmese national technician. He also concluded that no way to rescue my notebook.

I asked him try to repair and promised to pay him labor cost even he failed to rescue my notebook. His was painstakingly in spending around 30 minutes to remount battery mounting. He charged me RM30 only after successfully remounted the mounting.

I brought PCB home and assembled it back with a new battery, my notebook was alive again!!! And today I decide to upgrade RAM to 768MB max from 512MB and this upgrading shall at least extend its useful life to another one year.

I only spent RM140 for repair and RAM upgrade instead of reluctantly forking out RM 1799 to 1899 for Asus netbook Eee 1000.

Yahoo! to Komputown Sales & Service again.

Avoid a notebook repair shop in Taman Connaught Cheras, they quoted me a whooping RM580 for troubleshooting and repair works.

Celcom is a hopeless 3G provider

Celcom dealer in Low Yet advised me to see Celcom staff in Celcom branch for 3.5G service inquiry.

This is the short story I encountered. I reached Taman Segar Celcom at around 2 PM today and approached their inquiry counter.

FAQ1: Can I find out HP laptop + 3G offer?

Answer: It was closed last December 06.

I am fine with this since 384KB 3G is not really my choice.

FAQ2: Can I subscribe to 3.5G service?

Answer: Only for corporate account only. We do not offer 3.5G.

FAQ3: Can I register 3.5G under my company?

Answer: Yes if your company is under enterprise type entity, but you have to go to Jalan Ampang HQs to see our Account Manager. Whether he approves your application or not is up to him.

This sounds a very familiar response to us as we go to our government offices.

FAQ 4: Shall you use Celcom service?

Answer: Celcom is a totally hopeless company like TMNET, their new foster brother.
