It seems people like to compare their salary/income to see if they are within the average or above the rest, but how about your position levels, i mean since grad up to now assuming u start of at age 23 as officer/executive level how many become assist manager/managers by age 30 ? How many companies did u jump before that level was reached ?

Does anyone know the salary range for people who work in the media industry especially newscasters/newsreaders in ntv7,bernama,tv3 ?

How bout the hours , is it easy job ?

Wondering if it a good career choice for my younger sis coz she want to take IT and i advised her against it......

Rejection of Job Offer

I recently accepted a job offer at this company , however recently developments has forced me to reconsider this offer as i need to be posted overseas for a couple of months and i cannot comply.

What i am afraid is will i be sued if i don't show up on the first day since i already sign the offer letter ?

According to the offer letter my employment terms and conditions are as below :-

1. My employment shall commence on xx May 2009. And during employment termination notice shall be 2 months from either side or in lieu of payment .

Has anyone been in this situation before ? Need advise urgent coz i really don't have much working experience.... just 1 year plus ...

Can someone explain to me the impact should decide not to turn up.
