Hi, I am currently about to purchase an Alienware 17 R2 - [2nd hand bought April 2015], the owner is taking 8gb RAM for himself but selling it to me with just 8gb [originally 16gb].

I am just wondering about whether there's any worth upgrading to a 16gb or 32 gb ram at this stage
It will have a 1TB 5400 WD blue HDD +256GB SSD all from DELL

Any advice from the Sifus? - or any other parts to upgrade [if it does not cost too much]?

I've encountered a new techincal problem with my XPS13, touchscreen

When i play video at times, and scorll the screen up or down, after that, the video seems to shake [either up/down or left/right] continuously and i have no way to stop it. Pausing the video stops it, but when I continue playing, it continues.

Any ideas anyone?

As in my previous post, I am inclined to getting an iPad for note taking and making it part of myself [i.e. music, sports, etc]
I've watched the Strength add from Apple and found it inspiring. However, knowing it to be an advertisement, I am cautious.
I would like input from you guys, to see what uses can the iPad do well and reliably. So as to add to my decision on buying an iPad air/mini [i've gotten a note10.1 before but it has failed me miserably as the note taking function was not up to scratch and it ended up being a good toy, but nothing more]

Gmail accounts, facebook hacked

I recently received a sign in error through my iphone 5s saying my password for my gmail is wrong. I thought that wasn't a big problem.
However, 1 hour alter my friend called to say that my facebook account was being used to chat with other people asking for personal details and paypal accounts etc.
This was a live person as she had asked questions that you had tyo do at least a google search on to get the answers. For eg: what is "wtl"?
I then tried accessing my fb account but realized the password has been changed.
Then i checked and found out all 3 of my gmail accounts' password has been changed. All 3 had variations in passwords from each other.
Thankfully the person did not get into my bank account.
I have a phone verification for all my email accounts and were able to get them back.

Then 9 hours later I found out that the person has placed [not bought] a few items on my Amazon account and attempted to change the password [via Gmail].

I am now worried for the securit of my computer as I have never used all 3 gmail accounts or fb accounts on 1 computer.

I used another computer to change all my passwords.
I checked the activity of my accounts and found out that the ISP goes abk to New Zealand [a place I was at for 2 years, and he accessed my account first 4 days ago]

The only other device with access to this is my iphone 5s on ios 7.1
My computer is protected by Norton 360, updated and genuine.

I have done scans in safe mode and normal mode and there is nothing to be found.

Is my computer safe to be used or should I do something else?

iPhone 5s anomalies

The first thing was that after installing podcast, it wasnt on my phnone but detected on itunes. I had to sync my phone before it appeared. No biggie

The other thing today, my phone line just died on me suddenly today. I couldnt make calls, 3g down, mesaging not working. The phone showed I had line, 3g and all. When I called someone there wa sno ringing tone or any notice. I had to reset my phone and it all magically worked again.

The quesiton is, should I be worried about these things as I am leaving the country in 2 months and hope this phone can last me 5 years
