Today feel like being a bit of attention whore but what are /k for if not whoring each other out

I still remember the first time ever in my life, during my teenage year that I told myself I have to try my best to go watch his concert at least once in my life.
It was during the HIStory world tour, around 1996 when im still very much a poorfag form 1 kid, traveling to KL that time would be like a impossible task.

I started listening to MJ literally don't know shit about the entertainment business, song writings ( i only found out he wrote most of his song when I first bought the History album), or even aware of Jackson 5 , and I can barely make out the few English words, like Black or White, You are not alone, Thriller, Bad and still clueless about who is Billie Jean, Beat it meaning stop (but by watching the MV, i can tell it's about fighting) and so many other things about him. I was just amazed by his very special vocal, very powerful and manly and sometimes almost girly like and packed with emotions. ( back then i didnt know what da hell is vocal range) . Then the better-than-movie music videos, and of course his dance moves and live performance aura. Although to be honest, i didn't have much access to his life performance but only radio, cassette, cds that i played over and over using my walkman.

And then came the bad allegations of him of involving pedo or sexual misconduct which i didn't really cared to believe. The 13 years old me back then really think that he's better looking as a white man especially during the You are Not Alone MV than compares to Thriller, Bad era and totally no problem with people mocking him of bleaching his skins and the plastic surgeries. Of course i learned about chronic medical condition of vitiligo but it really didnt matter much to me because to me he's the Kind of Pop of the World. There's no clear line of black or white of him to me as an entertainer. And he still is the Kind of Pop and will never be replace by anyone.

I have occasionally played MJ music in the car for the kids, they enjoyed the song and music video but never really got to tell my kids how great he was during my childhood time. I guess Im gonna take the chance to show them tis time. I just want to celebrate his life.

The other post about former premier saying how he still able to gain lot'sa support from rakyat despite the 8 or 9 Judges ruled him guilty and in replied someone ( i forgot who ) saying clearly anyone who's not blind can see that there's not true. What are the common slang words that use to insult someone that I google search usually give me the maksud tersurat but not the tersirat one.

Contoh like Bangang -> Proud according to google search but i know is bodoh. pun intended. (one is the literal meaning, one is translation)

Bingai -> frame according to google search but i know is bodoh juga, pun intended jugak.

There were 2 major things that sweep the whole internet of Malaysia recently one after another.
I'm not exaggerating but it's really massive by just looking at the multiple thread that going pages after pages and pages and still counting. Easily over passed the previous hongjie incidents. Understandably because it happened locally in Malaysia. Yesterday was the longest streak of all related post in a row in facebook ever i've seen.

On one side the whole country was up in arms about the buli case of arwah adik zara as if our society are vigilant for righteous & wanted justice to be done.

On other side, the same country that go all in digging, sharing & posting private CCTV footage & their family photos with their fcking kids in it, harassing the person and isn't that literally another form of bully??

All is fine, I'm not saying I'm disapproving or anything, nor i have the power or the will to change anything. Human nature at works and I'm not any better than anyone.

Just my personal observation and really amazed by this display or 2 extreme conflicted phenomenon by this lovely country that I loved.

[WTA] Which options should I go?

Never thought i would someday opening a thread like this.
But still no harm listen to a few more argument before i made up my mind.
Because the model comes and go every few years and the dynamic been changing a lot.
Many years ago i thought Prius is the answer to me and think i should get it for my next car but now it seems like there's no more Prius on the road.
So feel free to convince me.

I know that ride it's very objective for everyone so I try to be specific with my usage.
I am all for reliability, prefer to spend less time going to service center, repair, repair. I'm thinking who doesn't but still a lot of people, like a lot of people take the risk like several Peugeot model, at some stage VW Polo, VW Golf, Kia K3, K5, Hyundai Sonata that at one stage selling like hot cakes, after 5-6 years almost totally disappear from the road.

I keep hearing people were having issues with Honda chasis problem but I guess that's pretty much about it and the rest are quite reliable. So I would consider a Honda. Please slap me if you think im being stupid.

I heard Proton x70,x50 were always fighting for spare parts, are they somewhat better now? I have a family members with Proton and the service center attitude remind me like Astro, Maxis. Is it better under Geely?

I drove Slyvia, Almera before and found them to be slightly lagging on fuel pedal and needs to be heavy footed often. I see the Nissan Serena S-Hybrid like very good price with the package but are they reliable?

Mazda CX-30 and Subaru XV are they gonna last?

So I guess you already knew I owned Toyota and Perodua and the alza 1.5 sxi been serving me for 14 years. I would say Perodua are more reliable than Toyota (altis 05 1.8G) in my case but still it's relatively reliable, only hating on UMW for being stingy with specs.

Im thinking to replace the Alza with 75~90k budget.
1) New Alza 2025- simple ease of mind, only long waiting time 3-4 months, 75k
2) Used Veloz 2023 - basically same engine but with better interior some 40k milleage which i think is quite fine for a toyota, no need to wait , 80k
3) Used Camry 2.5 Hybrid 2017 luxury - Would like to try hybrid car but not sure how the maintenance would be, around 75k
4) Used Civic 1.8 2020 - Never Honda before, should I try?, around 80k

Please any suggestion or bashing is welcome.

Long story short, I am a bit of facebook uncle person, but I roamed into reddit, quora because there is some good casual reading there.
But slowly more & more suggestions pop out and i must say the place is almost unlimited, full of angmoh , western girl willingly show you their dirty laundry with all kinds of flirtation imaginable that make me doubt my sanity. Is their society really that horny (not that i'm not but their's are a whole new level) and their girls really that down to fxck and adventurous?

Where are all this people comes from ? my best logical answer is these are all the onlyfans person there to push their sales/ subscription things. I never watch onlyfans for once but I am aware of this things listening to mspuiyi story and later on some debates.

Please tell me I am right? or something i dont know?

I have this someone reserved my item of RM250. I ask for a deposit of Rm30 to reserve for the item in case of ffk.
So after couple of sms and all, I receive his Rm30 deposit.

I am in Penang and will travel to KL every 2-3 weeks for work and after the confirmation, but since I'd just got back from KL so the next turn will be in 2 more weeks time. But somehow I found a friend is going to KL for a short weekend trip and I decided to tumpang his car and by the way pay him RM50 to compensate him a bit. I must make it clear that I did not go to KL entirely just to COD with the buyer but it does affected the decision. Since I will go KL again 2 weeks later on company claims.

The buyer sms before the COD that he didnt want the item anymore but I already paid my friend and I went to KL anyway. Dont want to FFK my friend.

During the period, rejected tons of possible buyer telling the items is reserved and during the weekend i was in KL. Someone in Penang offered a good price but to COD in penang immediately. I was in KL.

I am disappointed with his ffk and it causes me a lot of inconvenient. It could have been a done deal by now if not because of him. But what pissed me off is when he ask for his deposit back or maybe trade my CPL with the deposit.

He even posted a link http://www.moresales.com.my/catalog/entry/nethrtsq.shtml and telling me the KEEP CPL worth RM42.
Seriously we have a whole lots of thread and past sales in LYN to refer to but he chose this lousy sites to show as a reference. The item in the picture is clearly a p'shopped one to take out the "brand name" and clearly fake/bogus item.

So as the title stated. Is it wrong for me to forfeit his deposit according to the rules of regulations of LYN trade zone.
Even if I have to refund for the deposit, I will only do it after my item sold. Isnt this fair?

Photoshop Type tool problems

Any setting that went wrong for my photoshop?
Please download my psd file and see if it's appears super tiny in your photosho?
I have the fonts size sets to 72 pts and Im sure the color of the foreground and background is different.
At first I thought it wasnt there until I use the drop shadows and found out that it is actually there but very tiny.
So I try set it to the biggest available size but still it is too small.
Any help please?

Car Insurance Claims

Bad luck and such, I ran into an accident last week while back from work.
I was so close yet the old lady keep coming up from the junction doing U-turn in front of me.
She claimed that I was fast but I was actually bumped into her front left instead of running onto the door side or the left back if I was fast.
My front right side all kemek damaging the arm, mud guard, and air cond cooler(??) and radiator and even right front door was a bit pushed in.
Front windscreen was cracked a bit too.
The car was tolled away by workshop and doing all the insurance claims and repair.
Although the case handler keep telling me everything is taken care of, all I need to do is prepare the documents and come to take the car when is done.

Just that it's my first time and I need to be extra carefull for I really dont familiar with all the process.
I already got police keputusan report saying the third party was at fault and been summoned RM300.
So should I rest assure I will not have to pay for everything and expect my NCB to stay the same too?

Also, my worry part is the workshop running the claim for me.
So far they did the thing well and I can see them started the repairing already but Im always skeptical of workshop for some reason. (The toll guy was desperate and they been paid well).
How can I assure they do the amount I deserve for the money claims from Kurnia?
Is there any possible way they claim for 5 Ks but only do the reparing 3K and put in any substandard parts and bad workmanship?
Will the insurance company check accordingly?

I planning to go see the progress on this weekend again. What should I double check and asking them before they handed me my car back on next week. Like warranty and such.

Fun with my first camera

After much thoughts, I brave my cheeky self to open this thread along with all the experienced photographers and state of the art gears.
I'm just a newbie with my first compact camera trying to shoot and learn to utilize every bits of it before I buy my own DSLR, if I still find myself in the hobby and I'm ready for it. Like how I decide to move from my camera phone to my current cam.

I do realize that post-processing is pretty much as important as the shooting skill. I've been playing with the photoshop brightness, contrast, curve, shadow, highlight function lately but hard to find a compromise point between reality and pretty. So there will many questions of "is it looks real" to you for those pictures with some editing. Learning the photoshop now for some light editing and framing to add marks for my picture.

Comments and critics are very much welcome and please please please help me with my various questions.
Hope I don't get ignore because of my lousy cam and boring pictures, tell me how can I improve instead.

The 6. are slightly edited to reveal "highlight" on the sky part.
I realized that the tree part will get dark shadow because of the bright sky behind it.
My limited knowledge tell me that I should use a lower f number and I did it.
I got more tree and leaves details now but that made the background overexposed and lose the beautiful blue sky and clouds.
Picture. 7 is a total failure. The sky became white paper and cannot recover by photoshop but I like how the tree looks like.

I did not get till a point that balance of details and exposure but I hope the photoshop editing is ok.
What do you think? Or I should not edit at all.
I was in a car park waiting for my friends that time.

Ghost

Ok I may sound stupid but I have to ask this.
When I Ghost my harddisk using the software, so that I can clone it to many other harddisk.
Will the ghost software itself will be included in the image created that every cloned PC will have the Ghost software too?
If so, anyway I can prevent it so that I wont have to uninstall them one by one?

Harddisk problem

I have a Seagate Baracuda that run fine as a secondary drive. Having no problem at all for reading and writing but the different thing when I use it as a primary boot up device.
As first I thought it was a corrupted OS then i try to reformat it but the same problem occur again.
It get restart on the boot up process and even if it succesfully load the windows.
It will still restart randomly wheneven Im playing song, movie or doing anything else.
Sometimes, it will hang if i let it idle.
Same thing I try the harddisk at my fren's PC.

Should this definitely be the harddisk problem that I should get it RMA?

I took the jumper off and connected to other pc as a slave for file transferring.
It all went well and i put the jumper back in my pc as the master drive.
The pc start and the bios show it detected my harddisk, and then there is this black bar running at the bottom. After the black bar finish, it suppose to show the windows xp starting screen (with another small running bar) and then another blue windows starting up screen.

But my pc restart and goes back to bios disk and ram checking after the black running bar finish. The same thing happened if i try to boot in safe mode. It will restart after those many lines multiparition(....)....................................

But if i try to put it back as slave drive, it goes well.

Any idea to what may cause this to happen?

But the textfile only written "H", or whatever first character of the string i sent.

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with it?
could it be this line -- fprintf(fptr, "%s", msg );
where i should put something else instead of "%s" for BSTR?

current i'm running Windows XP on my computer
but on some reason i need Linux to compile some of the C++ file.
in order not to reboot everytime i need to compile my file.
i install VMWare and run the SUSe Linux2 as a virtual machine.
the instalation was ok.
but when i start the virtaul machine.
it shows me an error like this....
Unable to open the disk 'SUSE Linux.vmdk'.
Failed to configure disk scsi0:0.
The virtual machine cannot be powered on with an unconfigured disk.

the 'SUSE Linux.vmdk' file is no problem since my fren can run with the same file.
any ideal of how i can solve this??
or is there anything i need to configure??
any help would be much appreciated.
